Fan subbing will never die, because people want their anime now. They don't want to wait over a year for a [parasitic bomb] dub that doesn't even stick true to the line.

Fansubs are a way for weeaboos to prove how much they like anime, and they are legion. They can overpower any legal service.
You can download fansubs with higher quality than from crunchyroll, in several languages, and you get every free show of every season while they're still hot. No contest here.

Well, considering I'm not Japanese and I'm not too interested in Adult Swim's lineup...
