there hasn't been talk about the game here yet because i haven't gotten it yet.
i read Kotaku's article on the controversy last night. just because the game's story is inspired by the work of a homophobe, people won't buy it? to be frank, it's stupid. the game's story doesn't carry any anti-gay messages as far as i've heard, and Card isn't getting any money out of it like Fxeni said.
i don't agree with Card's beliefs either, but that's not going to make me not play the game. i hate the environments too, and soemthing tells me i won't care for the story. but again, that doesn't factor into my decision to play the game. i'm going to play the game because of the gameplay. it's a [tornado fang]ing Metroid game for crying out loud. and Mama Sato loves her Metroid.
