So yeah, dunno if there has already been a thread but...

Let's talk web comics, or at the very least, please post webcomics you like/think are worth reading.
Eventually, maybe if I'm not lazy, I'll create a list in this post of webcomics recommended in this thread.

(And maybe even of the [parasitic bomb] webcomics which people should avoid.)

Anyway. You should give a brief description of the comic, and why you like it. Preferably without spoiling it, if it's a plot heavy comic. Of course, you can write a review of the comic too, if you so desire.

In any case, I'll start by recommending my new personal favorite, from one of my favorite artists, Brianne Drouhard.

HARPY GEE

[spoiler]Harpy Gee has only couple of pages, but it's actually something the author came up with over the course of the years, and even tried to pitch to animation studios (without luck). Finally, quite recently, she began working on it as a comic.

As for the comic itself, it's only barely a couple pages in, but if I am to give a description of what it's about, well... it's about an elf girl called Harpy and her trusted companion, goblin cat named Pumpkin.

It's a pretty lighthearted comic, with a very pretty and colorful artstyle. It's still very early to judge it too much, but so far... I like it. And its start is very promising.
I say give it a chance, I mean. As of writing this, there's only a couple of pages. If you like cute (but not overly cute) stuff, with lighthearted humor... this comic might interest you.[/spoiler]

NUZLOCKE COMICS (Pokemon based comics)

[spoiler]Oh I should summarize the Nuzlockes as best I can.

Can't do much for Kit's since it's an over arching story of 4 Nuzlockes so I can't do them individually.

Basically a 10 year old (not really) goes on a Pokemon adventure and experiences friendship, trolls on the normal and cosmic level, manly tears and deaths and just all around a crazy story.

For R-Evolve a lazy jobless girl decides to go on a Pokemon Journey with her pessimistic biology major brother on her side. 

As for Mon Amie the story of Professor Sycamore as he has to fight against his bat [parasitic bomb] insane brother Lysandre.  It's an Egglocke and I myself gave him a Togepi because Togepis are awesome.

I just posted it because it's kind of old and I felt it should be posted shitty or not.  I do agree it's not the best but I just read it to see how deep the rabbit hole of it is.

Yeah like I said Kit's is super hard to summarize since it's so long and random as heck.

MunchlaxOnDaRock's just barely started on both of his, and the pacing is kind of long but I kind of like it.

Bumping this for some updates here.

First of all Munchlax's Nuzlocke comic REvolve, which is the Black 2/White 2 comic, has been dead for awhile and canceled for various reasons.

His muse for it has been dead since technically while it was his comic the reason he made it was because of a friend and as such was using his characters.  He's more focused on Mon Amie and likes that one better since he's expanding on canon characters in the most hilarious and most certainly controversial ways. 

It also makes it complicated to do Mon Amie and REvolve at the same time since REvolve would have certainly have been more complicated since he was using new characters, and making weird concepts such as the existence people using magic which would be way more complicated than what Mon Amie is touching on.

To make up for this he has announced that he will eventually be making a Pokemon Volt White 2 Nuzlocke starting Benga with Gible as his starter.  The reason for this is because Benga is a very under used character that he can play with, but since he'll probably be a hyper active kid he's simpler to do and he can probably still do some expanding on him.  Not to mention in REvolve since Iris took over the champion title Alder Munchlax made him a hobo and everyone loved hobo Alder so it gives him an excuse to do more stuff with hobo Alder.

Now Volt White 2 is a mod of White 2 that lets people have access to the National Dex which gives you a wider variety of Pokemon, with some of them having altered stats and even different types as well, to use but to balance that the difficulty curve has been modified to be even more difficult.  To add to this you also have access to the Key system, which are difficulty settings that you can unlock right after you beat the game and do some link stuff, right off the bat without having to do those conditions mentioned before to either make the game easier with Easy Mode or even more hair rippingly difficult with Challenge mode.

Since Munlax is a sadist and loves doing a challenge he's playing this on Challenge Mode.  This is also why he chose Gible over the other 2 options he considering, Larvesta since Volcarona was Benga and Alder's signature Pokemon or Dratini since in White 2 after you beat Benga in the White Treehollow he'll give you the shiny version of one while you would get a shiny Gible in Black 2 for beating him in the Black Tower.  Gible evolves into Gabite sooner at level 28 compared to Dratini who evolves slightly later at level 30 and Larvesta who evolves at the ridiculous level of 59.

I'll be sure to post a link to that when he starts making the comic.

The second thing is that Kit started a new Nuzlocke of Soul Silver.  This time it's a prequel of all his Nuzlockes about Kit's first journey in Johto that he doesn't remember since he probably pissed off Mewtwo in some way that caused him to lose his memories of his real first journey and Pokemon team.

Despite being a prequel I recommend you don't read this until you read the rest of comics since it spoils a running gag that happens at the end of all his comics and because of said running gag this prequel is most likely setting up for a Pokemon X-Locke.
