Um, maybe this is why you can't play it yet...

So I played a little Mischief Makers and Bakuretsu Muteki Bangai-O. I tested them on the Wii. ^^;

There are lots of graphic glitches on both of them.
And on Mischief Makers, the screen isn't placed right on the center of the screen and there's no saving.

You can see what it looks like. ^^;

If the video doesn't work, watch it here. (Download)

The bigger glitches shows up after 17:10.

It plays fine in Wii64 emulator tho, but it shows down on so many parts of the game. ; ^ ;

What saddens me, is the fact that no one has done any memes with any of the dialogue in the first Bangai-O.

I mean, seriously! Even Koa-Zo/Core Boy's line about "being actually a fox" hasn't been exploited.

Heh. What saddens ME is the fact that it really does look like I'll have to get a JP 360 in order to partake of Treasure's upcoming goodies. They've pretty much made it clear in a fairly recent update that the 360 will be their console of choice going forward (unless it's another Nintendo-related thing, like S&P).

Hopefully, they'll at least give me enough time to save up before revealing something utterly manly like a new, HD-ified Guardian Heroes-style beat 'em up, or whatever!  8D

Sad but true, but I myself still enjoyed it despite the slowdowns...and at least you can hear the in-game soundtrack, unlike a certain Treasure game I tried to play using the WiiSX emulator...

I wantz my Silhoutte Mirage port/remake!!...

Still waiting for that Guardian Heroes Wii boi.

Yeah, one of my favorites on the GBA.  :P

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Sin & Punishment 2 is the best game for Wii this year, I tell you.

I'll gladly take anything Treasure pops out right now.

100% agree. If not the best shoot 'em up by Treasure thus far.

I just started playing Radiant Silvergun, really starting to miss that character artstyle seen that game and Mischief Makers. Wonder who the artist is who did those games.

-Edit-
This might illustrate my point.

The guy behind the character designs in many Treasure games is Tetsuhiko Kikuchi, often credited as "HAN". You can find him in the credits of Mischief Makers and Radiant Silvergun. According to wikipedia, he seems to have left the company back in 2007. Bummer.  :\

Really hoping to see Radiant Silvergun released on XBLA, if it makes to Europe. Europe seems to be left behind all the time with the shmups that are released on 360. But Ikaruga was released here on XBLA, though.

Too bad Radiant Silvergun is so frikkin' expensive on Sega Saturn, that I can't even think  of buying that version (at least for now).

According to 1-UP, Radiant Silvergun was announced at TGS that it will be available for Xbox Live, and like Ikaruga, it will feature online co-op mode, leaderboards, and downloadable replays.

This makes me want an Xbox 360 Slim even more. But until that time, there's still Sin and Punishment 1 & 2 on my Wii.

You know, with some of the reviews I've on Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, they get on the game's English voice acting (name GameInformer's review of the game). Though if you ask me, its the game's Japanese-to-English translation that's one of major issues with the game. I remember X-Play giving Advance Guardian Heroes a 1 out of 5, one of the main reasons was the English translation was terrible.

Ironically, Bangai-O gets a free pass from me and other fans on its babelfished translation, which manages to fit that game's mood. Must be a double standard, rather.
