Don't count your horses just yet, his hair might be a variant of purple, as Argia himself stated. Proto's hair however, is brown. I'm still trying to figure out Duo's hair co-- wait, Duo has hair, does he?

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

Duo's doesn't really look like he's even wearing a helmet.  It kind of looks like that's just the shape of his head.  Considering he's distinctly more robotic looking than other characters, he might not have anything under that helmet but robobrain (or glowy energy stuff).

I still want to know what Rock's actual hair color is. its either black brown or blue. games portray black and blue, and artwork often portrays brown. (with that one complete works image showing black)

Brown. Anything else is born from palette limitations.

Well, that leaves us a large middle finger then. While his Marvel vs Capcom victory sprite properly decipts this, the games themselves has always had coloring issues.

Seems to me like it'd be black with streaks of purple. I guess just seeing his hair in black and white was generous enough.

Also, I believe other official sources depicted Protoman with black hair, but those were older than the Mega Man 7 artwork, so it might've just been updated.
