Okay, so far, 81 stars.

Man, things get slightly harder in World 5.

But MAN OH MAN, DAT SHIVERBURN GALAXY!!!

left me in the corner of my room shatting.  I loved it. (the part where you're skating, while dodging the 5 ...i'll call them mouth shooters for now, fire coconuts, while paying attention to the green coconut and in that small space where you can [tornado fang] up and die~

Yeah, that last part was giving me some problems (The fourth section wasn't hard at all, as I always entered with a full deck of clouds from the third section.)

Took a break for two hours, restarted it up, killed myself immediately to reset the stage... pretty much annihilated it in less than five minutes. It felt good because I used a secret move to kill the last enemy (long jump + spin... caused Luigi to stun the enemy by kicking it into the air then immediately kicking it again for the kill.)

So yeah, 242 stars. Fantastic game. The last mission, as much a punch to the face it is, triggered some nostalgia... those who don't get it will if and when they make it there (unless you spoiled yourself )

The stage will make you rage quite a bit on the second star (you might rage on the first, but it's not as painful) until you pull that one run off. Then you'll feel like such a badass, you could wrestle 10 bears and skin them alive.

But now we're entering John Marshton territory.

I struggled with star 241 and then on 242 i managed it on my 5th try.

As for my completion time... i don't remember >_>;; But it was in the late 20/early 30 hour mark.

Late and such, I know, but I finally got around to beating it yesterday. All 242 stars at 25:57:45 (although the game was left paused at times, dunno if that counts in)... The Perfect Run made me so so sad. The part right after you use the clouds was by far the most difficult part of the whole thing.

I'm almost done with 2 though, but I don't think I'll ever find all of the equipment or finish the Platinum arena

Just Got Star #120. Going to start the Green Star mess after I re-beat Bowser.

[tornado fang], World S was filled with Replays from SMG1, 8-Bit Mario/Luigi, The [tornado fang]ing Stone Cyclone (Natural Doubletime now, no less.), The Boss Battles.... Lets hope the last parts are better...

I did all of the green stars with Luigi too. Also all of the World S stars, and any stars that had Luigi offering his help. Basically, more than half of the game. This game will be known as "Super Mario Greenxy 2" to me.

Got star #242. The feeling of actually getting that level done was the best reward. Seeing how many times I died was nice too, in a kind of twisted way.

Overall, I have to say the game was good, but not great. I'd say I liked Galaxy1 more, but it's been awhile since I've actually played it.
