Feda - Emblem of Justice

フェーダ エンブレム オブ ジャスティス
FEDA - The Emblem of Justice

Anyone ever heard of this? It's very similar to the Shining series (not the movie). A tactical RPG for the SNES, later remade for the Sega Saturn.
It's lots of fun, especially if you got a thing for SRPGs. The main similarities to Shining Force would be the action animations and the artstyle.

The music is pretty good although nothing spectacular. If you manage to get a translation patch (or pre-patched rom) I suggest you give a try unless you totally hate this genre.

(This thread will soon end up on the last page, but I felt like making it anyway.)

I might try this out when it comes on the Virtual Console, I do have a thing for SRPGs, I enjoy quite a few, and name them (played most emulaited, and played Shining Force's PC Smash Pack port).

You will wait for an eternity then.

Game never was released outside of Japan.

[Protoman Blues]

Game never was released outside of Japan.

Neither was Sin & Punishment, if I remember correctly!  There's always hope!

[Gaia]

Ah well, there's always imports. :p

I'd like to see screenshots also. Besides, most of the USA SRPGs were rediculously easy for my tastes.

[Acid]

Here's a Lets Play

It's incomplete and uses a rather... wrecky translation. But you see what the game is about.

[Gaia]

Yep, looks like another "Survive the War" game. And I belive games like this uses hefty dialouge too. Sprites actually do have the same mulitpule tile feature ala Super Robot Wars, something I just noticed.
