Finding excuses to make a bad control system slightly better does not replace the need for today's control scheme on a possible new Legends.

It's not like you have to manually reassign buttons. There are 3 control schemes you can select:
A: "Tank Controls"(for some reason default)
B: "Normal Controls"
C: "PSP Friendly Controls" (no L2 and R2)

If you are using an emulator, try the 4th Framebuffer Animation option. If that doesn't work, choose 1 or 2 to disable it.

In ePSXe 1.7 you can quick switch to the software plugin via pressing F7. This will work 100% and runs faster on slow pcs.
You will only have the native PSX Resolution but since there is a frame-buffer effect over the whole screen and frame-buffer effects are software calculated you already had low graphics with your hardware plugin anyway.

If those rumours turn out to be true I will play this game in 1080i via Wii Emulator. Dolphin should be advanced enough till it comes out.
I could play it on a real Wii but I have waited to long for this game to play it in 480p.

The Games I played through so far.

To my shame I never played through any of the classic Megaman games.
They got my interested in Megaman though in the first place, cause I always watched my cousin playing them on his NES.

X:

Favourite: 5 and 6 which where pretty similar. I especially liked to play Zero in them.

Zero:

Favourite: Liked them equally. There where not to many differences.

ZX:

Megaman ZX

Favourite: Playing Megaman ZX Advent right now, which seems to be better than the first part.

Legends:

Favourite: Megaman Legends 2. One of my all time favourite games. Have played through it like 20 times and never grew tired of it. Part 3 belongs to my most anticipated sequels.

Battle Network:

Megaman Battle Network 1

Megaman Battle Network 4 Red Sun
Megaman Battle Network 5 Team Protoman
Megaman Battle Network 5 Double Team DS

Favourite: Megaman Battle Network 2 and Megaman Battle Network 5 Double Team DS. Part 2 for updating the look of the internet and introducing the style change and part 5 for the strategic battles and the advances of the DS.

Megaman Starforce:

Megaman Starforce 1 Dragon
Megaman Starforce 2 Zerker x Saurian
Megaman Starforce 3 Red Joker

Favourite: Part 1 for the Geos character developmental and for Pat(which never appeared in the sequels again).

I just borrowed my brother Wii so after completing ZX Advent I will try Megaman 9, Megaman X Command Mission and Megaman Network Transmission.
