I totally stole this from a thread I read over on an elitist circlejerk forum that I love too much.

In any Megaman game do the following:
- Beat any Megaman game only using the weapon of the robot master you just killed. (the first robot master you pick(and the intro stage) are exempt from this for obvious reasons.)
- in fortress stages(excluding the boss refight chamber) pick one (and only one) weapon per stage.
- Rush is only to be used when absolutely necessary.
- Rock/X only.

There's also a lighter variant that's just simply no buster allowed, aka, the sane way of attempting this with 7.

they had also cut support for the Wii and 3DS (old news though) so that was another indicator.

That's ok, all of their good games are on PS3/360/PSP anyways.

sales on pretty much every megaman game in the past decade haven't been high enough for capcom's standards to begin with. otherwise you kids would have more psp remakes and shovelware on xbla/psn/wii.

Dark of the moon was epic for me based on a non-hardcore fan level.

I don't know how fans would have handled the game if it did come out, but i'm sure most of RPM would enjoy it. Hell, probably many other fans of the series as well. We've waited way too long for this, could we have really afforded to spit it back at Capcom's face? Especially with the massive fan support.
