Anime & Manga / Devil Survivor 2 The Animation

I was never a Shin Megami Tensei fan till I got Devil Survivor 2. I personally don't know what made me buy this game... Wait now that I think about it I remember why. I was lacking sleep after finishing some projects for school and I had some leftover cash from work. Getting a game that could potentially keep me from sleep even more. Aren't I the smartest guy you ever met? ;D

Anyway, needless to say the game (after all the sleep I got) had me hooked. I found the story really interesting and the gameplay was pretty good. It was the first game I ever played were my choice mattered (To some extent). I've beaten the game many time now. I've done all the routes, unlocked everything for it and it still held up. After doing all that I got Devil Survivor 1 Overclocked and did the same with it as I did Devil Survivor 2.

When I heard about the anime I was pretty excited. Who wouldn't like to see a game they played to death turned into a animated series? So far I'm really loving the anime and it's just getting better as it progresses. I'm not sure what route they're going with, or if they even plan to do a route from the game at all. Some stuff have been changed in the anime which I don't have a problem with at all, if anything those changes have engrossed me even more. Is this animated series perfect? No, but I recommend it to those who are into the whole apocalyptic genre, OR if you're just looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Enough of my fangasm. I'd like to know what everyone else thinks about it~ (≧∇≦)/

And Jubei... but we probably never gonna get dat cat.
or at least not in the near future.

I think they will make a playable Jubei and Nine.
It makes no sense to introduce both characters, know that they can fight really well, and not release them.
Then again, who really knows. I would like to play as Jubei though..

I hate that [parasitic bomb].

I for one, hope we'll get to Imperator playable. Or at least as some super duper awesome boss.

I'm assuming when it comes to US he will be some kind of pre order DLC.
You do not know how much I've been wanting to see a playable Imperator...

Pretty much the same as you. I enjoy BlazBlue, just as much a I enjoy Guilty Gear (maybe even a bit more, because the characters and the story aren't a clusterfuck like in GG's case).

Cannot wait for Chrono Phantasma.

Also, I suggest someone merges this thread with the BlazBlue topic we already have.
Unless mods don't mind.

I've only played GG a few times, but from what I've played so far I really enjoy it. I've tried to keep up with GG as much as I do with BB. When I saw GG Xrd SIGN trailer it got me pretty excited. I know I'll be getting it for sure when it's released. As for CP, I'm over joyed about it. Can't wait to play as Yuuki Terumi.

I've been a fan of BlazBlue since Calamity Trigger. From what I've heard the Japanese PS3 release date has been set for October.
No word on a US release yet. I'm curious to know what everyone thinks about the game or the series in general.

Reason why we started off with BN4 because BN4 is much easier to make fun of and VBN4 is suppose to be an enjoyable way to check out 4 story because let's admit it BN4's story is pretty bad. We have plans to do selected scenario's from BN1-3 but till then here is BN4.
Also, yeah I'm sorry about the whole not posting here. Just been really busy with college and stuff. I'll be sure to check out the forum more though. Again sorry. ^ ^;;

I've been doing a voiced series known as, Voice Battle Network, VBN for short. This series aims to bring a voiced interpretation to each MegaMan Battle Network game, starting off with the 4th installment in the series.
