Hi, I'm new, but i've read almost every post in this thread (this game looks awesome!), anyway, I wanted to voice some ideas for the neuro-spikes:
1: Charging a shot would make the effect last longer.
2: Larger enemies would have to be hit in the head or similar weak spot to be controlled.
3: Bosses: 1: in order to hurt the boss they must have multiple spikes (2-3 or more) stuck in them
2: spikes deal damage over time; more spikes=more damage
3: parylization effect: 1-2 boss' movement is unaffected, 3-5 boss is slowed and may occasionally cancel an attack for no reason, 6+ boss is unable to move.
