Anybody else play Robotrek?

I gave it a try more than few years ago, I found it fairly "meh" to be honest, from what I can remember there wasn't really anything ground breaking about it or at least nothing that left any lasting impressions on me.

Nachos with some grated cheddar cheese melted on top, nice little snack every once and awhile.

Saw the Transformers movie by Michael Bay on TV last night.
... That's it?
Megatron... That's it!?

I recommend you go and watch (or re watch) the 80's animated transformer movie because the live action sequel isn't any better. Seriously, it'll wash the bad taste from your mouth.

Like mentioned below Iron Man 2 is a must see in the future.

Rockman Series / Re: Megaman: Robot Master Mayhem - Skullman

Skull Man's pose is kinda awkward, the way he holds his buster arm out is odd (If you have already addressed this in the newer sprites then never mind). Otherwise looks alright.

I heard that Megaman was based on/heavily influenced by Astro Boy, not that he started out as him.

Yeah Astro Boy was one of the heavy influences for the series, but I doubt there's any truth to that.

Heh, guess I'm not much of a canadian either then. Honestly never really cared for sports (Hockey or other wise).

In Canada we get demos in our PC/Game magazines sometimes but I've never seen full games included though. Lucky you.  :o

My cold/flu kept me from going into work today so I did what any self respecting sick person would do, grab an ungodly amount of snacks sat my self in front of the TV with a cozy blanket and played old video games while I surf the web on my laptop. Good day considering.  :D

That's just it. Not many gamers care about story, plot , or development. Not matter how groundbreaking the story/plot is, if the gameplay doesn't life up to the efforts, no one would want to play it.

I'm fairly certain you can't prove that.

Zero Stage 1 from X5, easily one of my favorite "fortress" stage themes.

As long as the games are fun who cares what the graphic style is? As for a radical "evolution" of the classic series, uhh I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Oddly enough for where I work the christmas rush is the week before when we get tons of business fucntions in 50+ people range. Glad that's basically done with now, this week will be quieter at least until new years. Still, I never want to make another christmas themed dessert again. >.> As for my day I took a much needed day off to get over this cold I've had all week.

Did you ever play anything from Legacy of Kain series? This [parasitic bomb] is better than anything japanese ever did. Especially if we talk about voice acting, plot and dialogue. AND IT WAS WRITTEN BY A WOMAN!

As much as I love the kain series the game play can be somewhat glitchy and few of them could have really used some more development time before release. Still when it comes to concept, storytelling, voice acting and music the Legacy of Kain series is certainly a gem of  a franchise.

As for the topic, I think both sides of the gaming world are guilty of producing "bland, and shallow" products but I don't think your being totally fair to the western developers I mean japan is just as guilty of milking popular genres and art styles as the west is.

Re-reading my old Gundam: Blue Destiny manga. It's definitely one of the better UC side stories.

I still think Die Another Day is the worst Bond song though.

I don't know "Never Say Never Again" makes Die Another Day sound decent, even if it's not really from a true James Bond film.
