That will be one method of attack, yes, but he'll primarily use soundwaves.

Here's Riff's first victory pose. Every character in 22XX: GT seems to have two: One for a standard victory, and one for a difficult victory (you win while you're health is very low)
This would be his standard win pose.

It would be accompanied by him saying "What? It's over already?"
I'll be performing Riff's voice myself, so I could do say any number of things. If you guys have a better suggestion, let me know.

Also, his second victory pose will have him say "Welcome to loser-ville. Population: YOU!"
That one's non-negotiable.

Changed the victory pose a bit based on some critique I got at Sprites Inc. I think it looks cockier this way, so it's much better in my opinion.

I just realized that I forgot to make Riff's blocking poses for the air and on the ground. Also, his being damaged pose and his low health pose... so I gotta do those, too.
I keep forgetting stuff...

But I'll have attacks to show you eventually. Mark my words.

There's a download for the second demo in the first post (the third demo comes out later this month, and a video demonstration of it can be seen Here)

Beating the "Battle" mode and staying through the credits will show a number of characters to be in future demos.

I thought about it, but decided against it. I wanted it to be similar to his regular pose, so it transitions into other animations without much problem.

EDIT: I'd like to say that I've finished all the poses I've forgotten, so I'll be able to start on attacks tomorrow! Yay!

Ahem, I also agree on the resting on guitar part, but your reasoning makes sense too.
But all in all, that is still one great sprite animation.

Not sure if it should be part of a combo, or if it should be a single strike that knocks opponents away.

I'm honestly leaning toward the latter.

Redid it a little.

Added a frame for windup, and changed the angle of his right foot(our left)
