So, I got some beer. One hard root beer (which I'm drinking) and a bunch of fruity beers and fruity malts. My beer choices are very FABULOUS~

Family is having a BBQ.

My sister invited over her friend, whom I've had a huge crush on for as long as I can remember. That friend came with her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, I'm sitting here with a hotdog, and she's in front of me wearing booty shorts and her boyfriend in close proximity.

What an awkward situation this is shaping up to be...

Mom made pork burgers and for once I actually liked them despite my aversion with pork besides sausages and bacon. She also made bacon as well and got a blueberry pie for later.

Yeah it like last Monday or Wednesday the bacon ants with [parasitic bomb] load of regular ants invaded the house due to a casserole dish with enchilada residue despite the thing being full of water.

Well [parasitic bomb], that is... unsettling. And the artstyle looks fairly western, but then again, that could be because it's conceptual.

Even though this is certainly a very dark series, they never had torturing. It is possible that this will get into SAW level territory? Hmm.

Welp.

And I was able to watch the fireworks tonight. Had to hike out into a field to get a good vantage point, but it was worth it. I could also see displays from four other towns.

Well my 4th of July kind of sucked since we didn't get to eat until 11:00 in the evening. The grill was just taking its sweet time. Food was good though, and the first fuzzy navel I've tried wasn't too bad even I usually don't drink.

Also it seems like SmoothVideo Project guys are crowdfunding for a new version of the project. It was funded recently but about a week ago they've added a new stretch goal for a proper Mac and Linux version from the looks of it.

I love how basically all the conversations people have about Fire Emblem Fates is about the 'gay content' in the game, rather than the [tornado fang]ing core gameplay/story.

Neglect same sex marriage, people complain. Give them it, and people talk about homophobia.

this is why games with romance options should just have everyone bi with player character's gender impacting little beyond pronouns.

not quite an in-depth example, but for all of Borderlands 2's dumb jokes and overuse of references, it got that very much right.
