The first half of Season 1 is very episodic but after that plot begins to kick in and continuity becomes more important and evident.

I'll give them credit, its easiest to start a series as episodic to get people into it as opposed to tossing somebody into a long-ass story arc.

And earlier today, I played a fun game of chasing Steven around the apartment yelling "What're you eating?! WHAT ARE YOU EATING" and he was salivating and licking excessively.
