The plot twist is so contrived and pointless.
I almost feel like Kojima did it to annoy us so much we wouldn't want any more Metal Gear.

YES!! Finally got Metal Gear Solid: Integral working on Windows 8.1 without the DRM bullshit stopping from playing the game using the fixed executables and having the window border in fullscreen. I can only hope there won't be any graphical hiccups using Borderless Gaming on Metal Gear Solid.
