I told him flat-out that no, he can't help. He can't act in it, as all the parts are filled. He can't build models for it, as it's about comic books and all he builds are military models. He can't be a part of it in any way, shape, or form because he lacks the skills required to be a part of the production staff. If he wants to help, he can donate to help fund the project.

He doesn't want to do that, as it won't net him any fame.

And Panda, actually, isn't quite as bad. We've actually used Panda for projects! He at least could provide background chatter and Wookiee noises!

He (not Panda) did ask me why I don't talk about my projects in any detail. I said because it's really none of anyone's business, and I don't want to deal with people trying to jump onto the fame bandwagon by asking me if they can help when they have no skills to offer.

The thing is, with any multimedia project I do, I get people coming out of the woodwork and asking if they can act in it. That's all anyone ever wants to do; act. It's because compared to the pre- and post-production and all the actual production, the acting is the easiest and the most fun. No one ever wants to do any actual work.

This is a very common issue that Ringman and I have dealt with on a regular basis and is the sole reason why we are very reluctant to allow anyone into our production company. We can rely on each other and we know what all we can do, and we'll learn new skills and are willing to put in hours upon hours upon hours of tedious pain-in-the-ass work for an end result of a few minutes of footage.

No one else seems to be willing to do any work other than acting, so unless people can prove to us that they're ready and willing to do mind-numbingly boring grunt work for very little payoff in the end result (or even none at all), then they're not allowed in our production group.

We don't want actors. We want people who will work.

And I hope your brother is okay. If it's been really dry, then he may have dried out the mucous membranes in his nose and throat. I've gotten spontaneous nosebleeds (gushers) from dry air.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, I mean he was a bit tired on Friday but it's been getting hot again. Plus I've had many a nose bleed and when my throat gets sore in those situations I sometimes taste blood so it coulf indeed be the heat.

Just listened to History Repeating: Red by the Megas. As the Blues fan that I am, this album did not disappoint in anyway. Really gotta see them live one day.

I know how you feel Quickie.
There will be plenty of times I'm trying to make a song and a friend of mine always wants to be apart of it. Now he had a basic grasp of music so that's a good start but he doesn't understand that I'm only as good as I am after a few years of learning it from trial and error. And I still have a bit to go before I'll even consider my music good at all. If he were to help it would just be him getting in the way and my having to explain almost everything at every turn.

And that's just for making a song I can't imagine the frustration your project might be giving you without any additional headaches. What some people need to learn that sometimes the best help a person can give is just staying out of the way.

Also I wish you luck on your project! I have no idea what it is but I hope it turns out how you like it!

So my dad spilled soda on my mom's phone yesterday so she decided to put it in the freezer, now I have to wait until it gets to room temperature and see if the battery is working again.

RPM has been preaching the douchicity of Dr. Light for a long time now. Afraid of the Dark is also magnificent.

Man, the temperature plummeted. Good thing, too, as I could turn off the AC and open the windows again (still have the ceiling fans on Decapitation).

Well my computer had a blue screen of death for the first time in forever, probably because I was reading with a Kindle book so maybe the computer felt overloaded, eh who knows.
