Its not an import.
Its from Amazon, UPS normally handles the 2-day shipping stuff but lately they've been doing this "SurePost" shipping where the Post Office delivers it.
Now because of the abundant snow, the mail wasn't delivered all last week because the truck couldn't reach the mailbox.
That, however leaves no excuse as to why they couldn't get out of the truck and walk to the porch. Instead they claimed to have been there when I was home, and claimed to leave a notice that doesn't exist.
Now I have to wait till monday for something that was supposed to arrive on the 27th. Of course there's no excuse for that either since it was in my city on the 26th, they could've done it then, but nope lets leave it sitting around for a day just because we can.
This is just sad. I just wanted to play my HD Tales of Symphonia and now its basically being held hostage at the post office, and not even the city post office, but the [tornado fang]ing post office in the next town over (Which isn't that far away, but it takes longer to get to.) And naturally they don't want to bring the [tornado fang]ing package with them if they fail a delivery even if its something that doesn't require a signature, they'll do that for alcohol, but not my stuff, no, I have to ask them to redeliver it, I mean, do they think I don't want my package? Why do I need to ask them to give it to me? Just give me my damn package!
And of course this UPS SurePost bullshit is selective, sometimes they do it, other times they finish delivery on their own, and late I might add (8PM at times, even if they get it at 5AM). They didn't do it for Mom's leg splint which she really needed for vacation, and it arrived only after she left. But my stuff gets SurePost. And then I have to deal with the Post Office's neverending bullshit. Whatever happened to that Rain or snow motto? Did they just decide "We'll deliver the mail, but if the weather is icky and nobody's home to clean a path for us we won't deliver." And don't get me started on my constant import hell, if I had the option I would avoid using the postal service altogether since they clearly are a bunch of incompetent buffoons who can't grasp the concept of customer service if it landed in their hands.
Sorry, I just had to get that out of my system.
