Also, Waveman? in Megaman 4? I could understand if thats like, a challenge before his game, but its just a hologram? what? If you think THAT'S wacky, then you need to see that Quint is in Drill Man's stage. Keeping in mind that MM4 took place before MMIIGB's events, it's nonsensical and illogical... But totally awesome, nonetheless.  Sakugarne is also much more useful here, to boot! This is something I want! That is awesome! Same here! While I'm not interested all that much in Mega Man Starforce itself, I definitely want to try this out.

Uh... what? No matter what MMKB may say, Rockman World2 takes place BEFORE Rockman4. There's only R2 and R3 bosses, slide and no charge. Whoops. I forgot. My apologies, I got the timeline mixed up a bit.  I guess Quint's appearance does make sense after all.  Now, concerning Wave Man's appearance as a hologram...I imagine that the real one was being developped by Dr. Wily at the time (but obviously not finished yet, due to his reliance on his older robots and Cossack's creations). The secret Stardroid boss battles, on the other hand...The only reason to explain that would be Wily doing a "test run" with them, though that explanation's a bit of a stretch.

Alright, alright, I'm sorry! I won't use it again.  Apparently, there's no reliable source of MM backstory info on the net... Mega Man II occuring before Mega Man 4 does make sense, whatwith MM shooting down Wily from outer space and having him crash on Earth, since he was thought to be "dead" prior to MM4's events. That, and the use of MM3 RMs in the game, as Zan pointed out.

Having all the info here compiled into one place would help, as it's a bit all over the place. This is one of the reasons why I think World2 works best prior to 4. It gets a bit more time travel convoluted when you add MegaWorld into the mix; but at least you can account for him having died prior to R4. Which with just Megaworld after R3, you cannot.

Hmm, I see. Fair enough, then. I may actually use it again. Well, just so you know, it's all very WIP still. So if you ever spot anything on that wiki that doesn't add up, just inform the wiki's editors. How many colors does that MMZX-themed hack use too much? ZX? I assume you mean the SSR one? It's not so much about "colors" as it is "palettes". The NES can only use 4 palettes for sprites at any given time. Subaru would use at least two, the Mettaur would use one (and share one with Subaru), the lock on would use one, and never mind how much the HUD would add. As it exceeds the 4 palette limit, it's a given we're not seeing a NES game emulated, but rather a PC game.
