Okay what's wrong with Blaze, it's just a generic name I name my main fire pokemon nothing special.

EDIT: Oh [parasitic bomb] sorry I thought you were a girl, sometimes I don't notice the gender thing.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

So, I was training in the Victory Road, trying to get my team to lvl55 after a rather evil Dragonite trio...

And what did you know?
My Noctowl caught the Pokerus, and has infected my whole team. :3

Oh, and I have a Hardy Mareep named SHEEPGOD that knows Flash.
E-yep.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

My team is infected with the Pokerus I caught when I first played Ruby

Yes.
They are microscopic beings that infect your Pokemon, and can spread quickly.
It's VERY beneficial to training up your Pokemon, as it, IIRC, doubles the EV you gained at every level up.
If your Pokemon are infected, they have a PKRS icon in their status screen, but the virus will go away eventually, about one day if left out of the box.

If you deposit a Pokemon with the Pokerus in a box, it doesn't infect the rest in the same box, but the Pokemon will not recover from the Pokerus either.
Those Pokemon that have recovered will have a '.' in their status screen.

The chances of finding it are astonishingly low. Like 1/16000 or something ridiculous like that. Easy to spread once you've got one pokemon infected, though.

Yeah I just looked it up. XD
Sounds cool, never even knew it existed.

Introduced in Gen III was it? Probably why I never heard of it, I kinda skipped Gen III, didn't really interest me much.

It was in gen 2. Just you probably never saw it because of that whole 1/20000 thing. I know I didn't.

Yeah, I played Gen II in Japanese, soon after the ROMs were released.
That was a long time ago, and I didn't make it very far; due to the whole Japanese thing and me not knowing a lick of Japanese.

So I missed out on figuring that out.
Plus I skipped over Gen III mostly, and only just started playing Pokemans again with Gen IV, haven't come across any virus thing for my Pokemans, so I never thought to look it up before. XD

Just beat Blue, so now I have all 16 badges. Yay.

Lv.55 Meganium
Lv.47 Staraptor
Lv.48 Kingler
Lv.48 Magmar
Lv.55 Mamoswine

Hmm. I'll have to do some team adjusting before I head to Mt. Silver. And some training.

Whitney's Miltank went down a lot easier than I thought I would, it didn't even get to heal, or roll once (thank you Curse). Clefairy was another story, [tornado fang]ing bastard got Frenzy Plant from Metronome against my Croconaw >=(

Right now my team is something like

Lv.20 Croconaw
Lv.19 Absol
Lv.19 Murkrow
Lv.17 Gastly
Lv.15 Dratini
Lv. 9 Geodude

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

The whole Team Rocket disguise antic more than makes up for that, I'd say.

Love the fact that you actually get to fight a Double Battle with Lance, as well (of course, you just have to stay alive and his Dragonite will [twin slasher] everyone, but I tried to do my part anyway).

So anyways, I skipped Mount Mortar initially, so now I'm exploring it and using the time to level up my Extremespeed Dratini.  Training a Lv. 15 'man after 8 badges is quite tedious.  After that, it's off to Whirl Islands.

And I gotta say, I am loving having a starter with Lava Plume. 8)

Also on DeviantArt, Rumble, DLive.tv, and the Fediverse (@freespeechextremist.com and @bae.st)

It's a pity that the Team Rocket disguise was too short... Darn you Silver... XD

No training lv 1 mans' before your 8th badge is way more tedious trust me, especially when one of them is a Smoochum since it's only Female so no inherited attacks unless you trained a Alakazam or traded a pokemon with a whole lot of special attacks that a Smoochum can learn, which I didn't.

At least it wasn't as bad as my Crystal game when I had to train 5 pokemon since I over powered my Typhosion when I was like 9-11 years old or something.

Why not just trade them to DPP and train them there? Surely that's less time consuming.

I just got my DSi yesterday. :\  Maybe I'll try that since I'm not going to EV train that party.

Well I managed to get a fuckton of SoulSilver in during my vacation, to the point where I am literally just about to fight Red.  Here's my current team, and I'll let you guess who's who, since I'm only going to tell you what I've named them!  (Some of them should be obvious)

PYRE HEART
SAMURIFIC
WAVEWOMAN
SILVERHAWK
TOLLS
CREEPY

Pyreheart Is Typhosion, or maybe Cyndaquil
Samurific Uh Sneasle, Scizor, or Gallade?
Wavewoman I'm going to guess Lapras
Siverhawk I'm going to guess either Skarmory, some other flying type or Tyranitar
Tolls No idea so I'm going to guess some electric type
Creepy Tyranitar, Gengar, or some ghost type?

Man I don't know what kind of team you employ so I don't have much of a clue.

Actually none are Tyranitar.  However, PYRE HEART is indeed Typhlosion, SAMURIFIC is Gallade, and CREEPY is Gengar!   ;)
