After loads of breeding I finally got a Chikorita with good IVs, but it's female, and I'm way too lazy to breed another one.

My life is so hard.
What does gender have to do with in Pokemon again?

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

You people and your crazy training and breeding and tutoring and what not.
What happened to the good ol' days of stuffing your pikachu full of Rare Candies and buying a thunder stone?

Hardcore gamerz, yo. In da hood.

What does gender have to do with in Pokemon again?

Very little. I just find the idea of a male dinosaur covered in flowers more appealing than a female one. Just feels right.

I could care less what gender my pokemon are.
There's only a few pokemon that actually have noticeable differences between their genders.

Yeah you say that now but just you wait until you want a Vespiquen.

Though I guess Vespiquen sucks anyway. Why do you want a Vespiquen when they suck so much? Man, you're dumb.

For collection sake?
I had to breed a male Combee with my Ditto just to get a female Combee... >.>

EV-Training already started in the good ol' days...

I loved my 5 Point contingency training plan back in red and blue...

-Get Item in Slot 6 (Protein, PP Max, Rare Candy, etc)
-Fight MissingNo
-Stuff Pokemon with said items
-????
-Profit!

Now I really couldn't give a [tornado fang]. Too much work for something with an insignificant payout.

Yeah, there are certain 'mans that I picture better as one gender or another.  For such reasons I always stick to a male Dragonite, and a female Lapras.

And I'm still more than a little disturbed at the thought of a male Jigglypuff... X(

What happened to the good ol' days of stuffing your pikachu full of Rare Candies and buying a thunder stone?
1. MISSINGNO retired.
2. The idiot devs in the GBA generation decided to double the IV range (from 16 to 32).

That one went COMPLETELY unnoticed by me.  One more bit of trauma for my mortal soul to recover from. ???

And to think, Missingno was the tip of the iceberg. So many interesting glitches were in the GB R/B/G generation.  8)

I caught a Mew with a glitch on my Pokemon Red.
But I mean, all this nonsense and hassle of EV training, and whatever else there is.
It's not worth the time and investment.

Ah, but you are doing it subconsciously as well, everytime when you are grinding your Pokemon for the in-game battles.

Well, the Japanese name isn't gender-specific.

No no, I'm not doing anything subconsciously, I'm just doing what I'm doing, if I were doing this subconsciously, then somehow my subconscious mind would know exactly what it was doing to get the best stats out of the EV training.
which I am obviously not.

EV training is boring.

And I don't have any reason to do it anyway..

Even if you subconsciously know or don't know that you are doing it subconsciously is not the thing.
Because subconsciously, you know you are subconsciously EV-training your Pokemon.
So what if it's not the best stats? It is still EV-Training.
So, subcansciously tell yourself that.

No, I am not man enough to EV train.
I am not man enough to be hardcore with my pokemans.
