Capcom Soundtrack are Sumthing Else

I just read this article on the Kotaku and I must say, I think this is a great idea.  Sure, the majority of nerds out there will probably simply download/torrent the soundtrack for free instead of using iTunes, not to mention from what I've seen, the majority of nerds out there dislike iTunes, however I think it's nice that they are actually offering it at all, since we really don't get many gaming soundtracks in the US, whereas they have an entire floor of a store dedicated to it in Japan.  If iTunes continues picking more game soundtracks up, then hopefully Amazon.com will as well.

Hopefully they might eventually get some Mega Man soundtracks up there as well.  If they do, I'll buy it.   8)

I only like iTunes because it sorts the music I download via torrents quite well.

So many companies need to follow suit, like now. Anything that can promote more people getting interested in music and composers like Hideki Naganuma, Spencer Nielsen, Richard Jacques, Koji Kondo, Hirozaku Tanaka, Mahito Yokota, and countless others is an excellent move.

...I am also plugging for this in the hopes of new music, mixes and so on being released on iTunes direct from source. 8D

Wow... I only recognized Koji Kondo from that list... I feel sad....

They should also promote Michiru Yamane, Dave Wise, Yuzo Koshiro, Motoi Sakuraba, Shinji Tamura, and others. I feel better.

OCR interviewed him recently. A good interview. His music is truly great. It should be on iTunes (something I said so I'd be on-topic). Crocodile Cacophony is one of my favorites, and Snakey Shanty (got name from DKC2 GBA Sound Test) always makes me smile.
