Feel kinda bad for admitting it but I'm playing ICO for the first time (sorry if this sounds like a review)
Loving it so far, as someone who appreciates the minimalist story telling of games like Demons and Dark Souls I love how how the world is presented in ICO, every room and object tells a story much like the two Souls games, more is said through imagery than dialogue. The lack of music outside certain parts might annoy some but I think it adds to the ambiance of the game, creepy yet oddly soothing to experience if that makes any sense.
The game play is...yeah it's an early PS2 game re-released or not, I find I'm fighting with the camera way too much and combat just isn't fun. But the escort aspect is oddly...something I'm enjoying it not only adds to the puzzle solving but also the ambiance of the game.

Opened my front door this morning to take out some garbage and this adorable grey cat was just sitting there looking at me. Friendly too, I think he was sunbathing on our stoop, too well groomed to be a stray so I'm guessing he lives nearby.

Blue picks up two mets grasping them by the helmets to avoid their teeth and smashing them together while kicking one sneaking up on Unkawaii.
-"I'm all for a good fight but maybe we should think of backing off, there doesn't seem to be an end to these...huh?"
A loud sonic boom blankets the area as another identical drop ship appears hovering right over their position, the bottom drop bay opens and a flaming fireball explodes out crashing into the swarm like a meteor sending mets flying in every direction. When the smoke clears an android can bee seen kneeling, her face covered by a visor and face mask. She rises to her feet and clenches her fists her gaze on Blue more than Unkawaii
-"It's been a while Blue." Flare Star her voice almost giddy.
-"Flare Star?!" Blue's eyes widen as she takes a more serious battle pose
-"I've been waiting for this rematch for ALONG time, this time I won't lose!" She raises her clenched fist fire engulfing it

"Flare Star why are you here?" Blue relaxes her pose "What is Captain White beard doing on this planet?"
Flare star casually motions with her right hand as if not interested. "Why am I here? Pfft, the good captain is working with some wacky old man. Me I couldn't care less about world domination, I care about proving that I'm not some copy bot that I'm superior to you in every way!" She steps forward "Enough talk, Blue tell your buddy to get out the way if he doesn't want to get burned."
Blue looks to Unkawaii "Sorry to get you involved in all this madness, but I'm not sure I can beat her in my condition." She re-assumes her combat stance.
Flare Star suddenly dashes forward launching a fire ball at the two's location impacting just short of their feet. Blue just manages to get out of the way but the explosion lifts her off her feat sending her flying onto her back. "Ugh!" she grips her hand into the ground to stop being sled back too far.
((Sorry that follow up post took so long.))

Not long after a drop ship launches from the Dark Star III heading toward the battle on RPM, Flare Star sits in one of the command chairs tapping the armrest "Finally...finally I will show her that I'm more than a simple copy, hehehe!" The Buccaneers looking on as if their commander is a little crazy.

Tempest Star nods "Yes sir, although she wasn't able to defeat her last time and we don't know the abilities of Blue's new ally should I send Buccaneers?"
White Beard puffs from his pipe "Yes but have them stay back for now, if she fails again." White Beard glances to Dr WilyII "I hope your not too attached to those mets good doctor, Flare Star has a nasty habit of burning allies and enemies alike, still at the very least she'll weaken them for my troops to finish the job."
Tempest star nods and drops a smoke bomb vanishing.

Captain White Beard Nods before laughing - "With your genius and my forces we will be unstoppable! ARRR!"
Suddenly a puff of smoke appears near the doorway and Tempest Star appears kneeling - "Master, the Smiley-Copters will be here soon, they have "It"."
"Excellent!" White Beard bellows taking another puff from his pipe. "As for our OTHER project I will now deliver on my end of the bargain."
Tempest Star Stands aside as Smiley-Copters begin to slowly hover into the room carrying a large gem, shimmering in the four colours of the elements.
"The Omni-Gem good doctor, a source of infinite elemental power. With this safely in our grasp our victory will be assured!" White Beard stares into the Omni-Gem's reflective surface chuckling to himself as the thought of taking revenge for his past defeats is finally within his grasp.

Rockaneer
Having suffered being tossed for too long the Buccaneers finally strike back...well not really. Rockaneers using their surprising strength lift boulders from the cliff side and launch them at Blue as she climbs the mountain, these boulders can of course be grabbed and tossed back but will roll down inclines taking out anything that gets in their way.
Drillbit
Digging bots designed to rapidly move through solid rocks, while they are hardly a threat on land they tend to quickly attack from below (although Blue can track their movements underground). Once they explode from the ground they will quickly jump to tunnel back below. Blue can toss them and use their drills as potent weapons.

Not sure what version I prefer, both have very different feels to them despite being the same theme. The original has that Street Fighter Alpha feel while the remastered version has a Street Fighter IV vibe. Also downloaded a few, my Ipod needs new music!

Blue frowns, tired of her ankles being bitten stomps on the closest met forcing it down into it's helmet. "What ARE these things?!" She growls as with a good boot sends the helmet sliding across the floor (not unlike a green mario shell) sending crazed mettools in every direction. Knowing this won't stop them for long she begins hopping on the helmets of the mets still standing trying to close the distance with the stranger, strength in numbers after all.

Ack! Blue yells as the rabid mets begin to pounce, she extends her arms and manages to catch the first met tossing it back at the large group scattering a few like bowling pins but as they keep charging she quickly realizes how bad this situation is getting. "Not friendly! Not Friendly!" she yells out loud as she prepares swing at the next one, only to jump at the sound of a gunshot in the distance that takes the mets as much by surprise as her.
