Usually about 10:30-11:00 PM on weekdays since I wake up at about 7:00, and about 1~2 on Fridays and Saturdays, when I wake up more like 10-10:30.

On rare occasions when I'm really bored or trying to draw, about 3-4 AM, and if I play DS at night on weekdays about 12-12:30 AM.

Can you tell this is my favorite RPM theme week? :P

Avatar: Andy Bell, from a sketch I did of him a week or so ago. Supposed to be him circa '87.

Sig: Erasure (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke), from a photo I found of them. (So it was taken in '97, who cares. I liked the poses.)

See, I so wish I was born about 15 years earlier. I mean, I missed so much cool stuff. I missed lawn darts. Lawn darts.

Also, three out of those four bands are my favorites of all time. Hint: They were the ones with less than five members. :P

So, here's an attempt at 32-bit spriting that *gasp* ISN'T Fire Emblem! It's the first time I've been remotely satisfied with this style. I've tried it several times before and failed. I still need to work on his upper body, though, and that arm on our left just won't position right, but whatevs.

About 6 or 7, shortly after I discovered gaming. I didn't believe in using cheats or glitches to get ahead, but I looooved looking up glitches, bugs and cheats for Mario games on The Mushroom Kingdom back when it first went online, about '98-99. But that wasn't the first; I went to TMK after not being satisfied with what was in Tips & Tricks Magazine. I don't have my very first issues, but I think I have some copies from '00 or '01 in my room.

I also read about some code that involved up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, Select, Start (Atari code? Been a long time) that I thought would help me find Magmars. It wasn't even a Pokemon-specific code, but I got one anyway just walking around like that for an hour so whatever >_>

I saw Valkyrie today. It was okay. Not edge-of-your-seat actiony, but not dull. Tom Cruise was alright and wasn't too full of himself.

The week before, I saw Milk. And I swear to you I have never cried that much in a theater before. It was absolutely amazing. Sean Penn had every mannerism down. It even had funny moments. I didn't want it to end, but unfortunately with historical movies you know it will and how it will. I think that's why I'm so "eh" about Valkyrie, because I had my bar set too high after seeing Milk.

The Pokemon anime is really DEEP and it's SERIOUS BUSINESS GUYS

"...You got EVA in my Pokemon" is really my only response to this aside from "cool story bro".

Monkey Bone.

I was about 7 or 8. It was PG-13.

We ended up leaving the theater when the guy gets sawed in half in his dream and then wakes up from the coma halfway through an organ donation and wanders around with his midsection wrapped in duct tape. I was afraid to fall asleep in a soft bed for weeks for fear that I'd sink into it and be stuck in the amusement park from hell.

If I watched that today I would probably laugh my ass off. 8D

I think either Cephi's head is drawn too big or the torso isn't long enough, or both. And I agree about the arms being too long. They're not too skinny though, they could just do with more muscle definition (even on females).

The doodles, I think you could do something cool with the top right corner face. Maybe even with that ponytail too.

Erasure, my favorite band. On the left is Andy Bell and on the right is Vince Clarke.

This is the first time I've drawn them, so it was tough to get the picture to look like them. But I had fun. They're a great exercise in contrast. 8D

This little piece of jailbait. I even went as him last Halloween.

I used to go as psychoswordlady back in 2004 or so. There was a character in Fire Emblem 7 (the one most people have played) named Karel, and he was this homicidal maniac with really long hair and he was such a badass. He was a psycho sword guy. So I was like "Duuude! I wanna be just like him!", so I joined a bunch of nooby sites like FFN as psychoswordlady. Eventually I got bored with the name, and when I joined my first Fire Emblem forum, I picked a more flamboyant character. It was either Roshe the Pink Knight or Asvel the Jailbait Wind Mage. Asvel was more, well... look at that skirt. It was more for the reaction than anything else, but it stuck.

So that also clears up anything about Asvel being my "fancharacter". He's not. I just use him as an avatar for convenience's sake and because I always play male characters anyway, whether they're campy or macho.

I very vaguely think I just might enter. I've got a good idea this time.

Btw, can we enter both categories or just one?
