Kojima can't make a Metal Gear 3 because it is an old franchise and consumers will not be familiar with it. In result, the game is instead called Metal Gear Solid. Now that Kojima has a successful brand this new title must stay so that consumers know they are getting a reliable product!

Thus Raiden is born (bad thing).

I'm willing to let go because of MGS3, but the opinion still stands.

LOL, Special Stage 2 is called "Get the Punk Out"? Can't say the name fits the theme, but it's still kind of funny.

Zero Suit's nice and all, but I'm sick of it. Girl's gotta show some skin and let her hair down.

To me, it's the opposite. Samus just isn't that kinda gal. It just wouldn't seem right for her to be more of a feminine character (disregarding the "faster run of the game = less clothes ending" thing, talking more about personality), when she is a pretty good example of heroism from a genderless character (genderless as in her actions don't particularly favor male or female). Probably a good time to point out the "OMG METROID IS A GIRL" surprize metroid ending as an example.

She just doesn't fit the female stereotype, at all. Not that female stereotyping in a video game is a bad thing, anyways. All about the artist's vision, yo. Even if, on occasion, that vision is somewhat voyeuristic.

Well, what else is there to talk about before the game comes out?  If there's nothing good to say about it, then nobody will say anything good about it.

Is there anything about it that's been largely considered "bad" by a general consensus of people who have been looking forward to this game to talk about? I mean, being doubtful is one thing, but outright bashing based on, as far as it can be told, speculation, is another. As it's been said time and time again, be your own judge as it comes out. Are people not allowed to have individual opinions anymore?

The Jewel Man "tink" sound effects kind of sound out of place at points, but there is definitely a similarity to Jewel Man's theme throughout Sarge Man's theme all around.

Kevvviiinnn really knows how to craft a tune. Wish I could know how he manages it, haha.

I first learned of this project when Danooct posted his Scuba Man arrangement. I've been following it since. Good stuff all around.

Circuit Man's theme is good, too. Like the Spark Man influence.

Also, as a side note, I took a look at some of the instruments on your Title Theme on the FamiTracker forums that you recently posted and mimicked them for the pieces that I've completed thus far on Stardius' fan game. I just didn't know how to get the Mega Man feel and that certainly helped. Hope you don't mind!
