It was noon which only made the desert that much hotter. Lou and Reis approached a cliff at the edge of a crater. The information that Terra had gotten for them had pointed them to this location. They had traveled all night to reach this hole in the ground. Louis scanned the area with his visor and it pinpointed a curious object underneath some rubble.
"Looks like there is something down there." said Lou as he retracted the visor back into his cap. He pointed to an area in the rubble. "It's over there."
"So much destruction here. What is.. was this place?" asked Reis. She moved over to the edge of the cliff and jumped down.
"According to the information Terra was able to retrieve it was a shop run by Wily. It catered to villains but there were never many here. Vixy made sure of that. Eventually it went out of business. The files mentioned that it was converted into a lab but it was destroyed due some project going wrong." Lou answered as he jumped down landing behind his wife. "The files also mention that there was another lab here. It was built shortly after the MCP was destroyed, Wily built it under the remains in secret. If it wasn't for Terra I doubt anyone would have ever found it. This is suppose to be where he started testing these "Frenzy Waves." He looked around. "I wouldn't touch anything out here. This stuff looks really unstable"
Reis nodded. She moved closer to the area that Lou had pointed to. She drew her sword and used it to shuffle around some rubble uncovering a keypad. "I seem to have discovered something Louis."
"Ooo, nice work." he said as he walked over to her and summoned some wind to blast the area clear. Under all the dirt and rubble was a latch that lead downwards into the ground. He then he pulled out a small device and attached it to the keypad, after a few moments it unlocked. He took a a step back and drew his katana. "This place is probably protected by a buttload of robots and traps so keep on your guard babe."
Reis summoned her shield and took a defensive stance in front of the latch as Lou swung it open. He then jump back. They both waited a few moments but nothing happened, no enemies and no alarms.
"That's strange." Lou said. "Expected a welcoming party."
Reis moved forward and started going down the stairs with Lou following behind her. As they reached the bottom of the stairs they approached a door that seemed to have been torn open.
"Whatever did this damage really wanted to leave this place." Reis commented.
The lab was in ruins, there was little to no power. The few lights that were working were flickering on and off. It seemed liked the power to the defenses and to the surveillance cameras were also down. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust. The walls appeared to have slash marks and were stained with blood and robotic fluids. Most of the terminals were disabled and the few that had power were also flickering on and off.
"Daaaamn, what the hell happened in here?" Lou said quietly.
"It appears they lost control of the experiments conducted here. Most of the computers are destroyed too." Reis said as she came to the corner. She hugged the wall and peaked around the corner. "It's clear."
As they moved down the hallway they checked each room they passed. Reis came across a wireless terminal which had it's display smashed in. It's power pack however seemed to have been knocked loose when it was destroyed. She picked it up and inspected it, it somehow remained undamaged after all this time. She walked out of the room and headed toward Lou. "Louis, I think this item could be useful. It seems to be undamaged and its very similar to the power sources that Terra develops." She whispered as she handed it to him.
"Nice find. I haven't had any luck finding a working terminal though. Maybe we can jury rig one with this." Lou said softly. "There is only one more room left. Let's go check it out."
They came to the final room. Lou went right along the wall while Reis went left. After they made sure the room was clear they started to inspect their surroundings. Reis walked back to some holding cells she walked past while clearing the room. They were all empty and whatever was in them had forced their way out long ago. Meanwhile Lou inspected the terminals and lab equipment on the other side of the room. As he shifted through mostly useless equipment he came across a terminal that was knocked to the floor but it remained intact. He picked it up and hit a few buttons. After a few more tires he slid out the old power pack and replaced it with the one Reis found. After hitting the power button the terminal came to life.
"I got one working Reis, it doesn't have much power to it." Lou said. "It also doesn't look like it is encrypted, I guess Wily didn't think anyone would find this place. Let's see what I can find here." He searched some files and finally found what he was looking for. "Reis come here."
Reis walked over to him. "Did you find what you were looking for?"
"Yeah." Louis skimmed the screen "That psychopath held all his early experiments here. He tested these waves on animals, humans, and even robots. In early experiments people just got angry but he kept refining it. Soon they started to go berserk and he had them fight each other. Ok so there were some subjects that recovered from the rage and then became immune to the waves. He labeled them as failures and tossed them to the enrages subjects."
"This man is a monster. He should not be allowed to live." said Reis with an angry tone.
"It doesn't get better. He continued the experiments and was able to strip all emotion from his subjects. All that was left was rage. It seems like he succeeded in preventing them from recovering on their own." Lou looked over some other files. "He also tried cleansing the rage to see what the subjects would be like afterwards. Some just died, others recovered but were just mere shadows of their former selves, and the rare few that did recovered completely returned to enrage state after some time. It turns out the ones that went berserk again tapped into a new level of power. Ok this explains the damage, he wasn't expecting this increase in power. The last couple of entries mentions the beasts breaking out and tearing into his robots. It looks like he gassed the place as he escaped just to make sure nothing survived." Louis paused for a second. "The rage possibly returning worries me." He leaned against a wall as he continued. "Terra said Vixy was able to cleanse him and Wily does not have access to anything like her powers so maybe he is fully restored. Hmm, but Greg could still be in danger. Hell, everyone around him could still be in danger."
Suddenly the lights all went out as power completely failed. The only source of light came from the wireless terminal they were using.
"Well this sucks" Lou said. "At least we got what we needed."
There was a sound in the background, like something moving quickly through the room. They both drew their weapons. Then another sound as if a wall was crumbling.
"I do not believe we are alone." Reis said as she moved toward the sounds origin. As she got closer a pair of glowing red eyes appeared. Reis readied her shield.
"Looks like we have a survivor." Lou said. He moved up as his katana started to emit a green glow. "At least it's only one."
As he finished saying that, a dozen more pairs of red eyes appeared. Reis looked back at Lou obviously annoyed.
"Well.... [parasitic bomb]." Lou said as the red eyes charged them.

(Wait isn't PB supposed to be confined to his quarters under guard? I think PBPB made it so that he could not walk out)

Sometime during the night in a small village located in the outskirts of RPM.
"Balance over here!" said Easy. She dove behind a partially destroyed wall. "Quickly!"
Balance came up behind her and ducked down while checking the amount of ammo left in his rifle. "I am dangerously low on ammo, how about you?"
"I'm good and I have two power packs with me." Easy responded as she started to hand one to Balance. "Where is the commander?"
"He was right behind us." Balance said as he popped in the new power pack. "There he is!!! Quick let's give him some covering fire!!!"
The both leaned out of cover and started firing into the night. Most of the blasts were wild and missed there intended target, the few that weren't were deflected away. They both ducked down behind cover again as Rota reached them.
"Thank you for the support" Rota said as he slid another energy grenade into his launcher. "Are you both alright?"
"Yes I think so." said Balance
"Sir? Why is this happening?? asked Easy as fear started to creep into her voice. "Who is he?? Where did he come from?? What is he????" Balance put his hand on his wife's shoulder which calmed her down.
"I don't know. I don't know if he is even human or a robot. All I know is he has killed everyone of the villagers and has torn apart the village guard. I believe we are all that remains." said Rota as he got up and fired a few rounds of his pistol into the darkness. "You two have to escape, you have to tell the resistance what happened here. I will cover your escape but you have to warn them of the danger. Even with the war they have to do something."
"Sir, we can't leave you behind." Easy said.
"We have no choice. We have to split up. Besides I wasn't asking it's an order. I will rush out to the right to draw his attention, after I start firing I want you both to head left and make your way south. Try to get to the forest it's your best chance to make it out of here." Rota said as he reloaded his pistol and double checked his launcher.
"Sir, it has been an honor serving with you." said Balance as Easy nodded in agreement.
Rota shook Balance's hand and smiled at Easy then he rushed out of cover firing his pistol. "Come get me you bastard! You want to kill me??? IT WILL COST YOU!!!!" he yelled
Balance and Easy looked at each other and prepared themselves to run.
"I love you." Balance said
"I know." she smiled.
They both ran out of cover. Rota was still firing but strangely there was no sign of the man in black. As they were running Balance tripped over some fallen cables and watch as Easy ran forward a few steps. He watched her turn around reaching for him when she was suddenly engulfed in dark energy and vaporized.
"EASSSSSYYYYYYY!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Balance cried reaching out to where she was. He forced himself up with tears in his eyes. "YOU MONSTER!!!!!!!! I WILL KILL YOU!!!!"
Rota hopelessly watched as Easy died and then as Balance got up charging into the darkness while firing blindly. "Balance! No! Stick the the pl.." He was interrupted as he heard Balance scream out in agony. Then there was silence. Rota yelled in anger as he grabbed his launcher and started firing. As the launcher beeped to notify him he was out of ammo the man in black suddenly appeared in front of him. He hit Rota in the chest with the hilt of his sword sending him flying into a wall. Rota fell and slumped over trying to reach for his pistol. His vision was blurry and his hand were shaking. As he pulled the pistol from the holster he dropped it. Before he could reach for it the man in black picked him up by the hair and held him against the wall.
"Who.... who are you" Rota said in agony.
The man in black said nothing at first. Then he smiled "Lewis... You my address me as Lord Lewis."
"What... do ..you want from us?" asked Rota.
"I have questions. You have answers. You survival is dependent on these answers. Understand?" Lewis said in a commanding tone.
"Y..es." said Rota.
"Who rules this land?" Lewis asked.
"Vix..y." replied Rota
"Does Wily exist here? Why is he not in control of this place?" Lewis asked.
"He does... he has made attempts but has been stopped everytime ... by Vixy and her friends. He is currently ..*cough*..trying again." said Rota.
Lewis dropped Rota. He formed a ball of energy and placed it on his chest. "I am going to leave now. I can't have you following so I am leaving you with this gift. If you move, you die. After I am far enough away it will vanish with a flash of light and your suffering will be over. Rota nodded.
Lewis got up and started walking away. Why hasn't he taken this realm over yet? How can I defeat that blasted ninja if he will just end up having a place to escape to and get reinforcements. If I am to rule his planet, to get everything that was taken from me back, I am going to have to help Wily.. I will have to crush Vixy and her friends. Then I will have a place to begin with my revenge against Ninja Lou. After I break him his planet will be mine. He looked back at the ball of energy and watched it detonate. Lewis turned back and walked into the night.

"Ok Lou, I have been able to fully infiltrate the ISS and SS69 servers. The A.I. is pretty advanced, but it seems distracted somehow. It keeps jumping in and out of a terminal. Anyway, I have installed a backdoor and should be able to go in and out without being noticed. If they do eventually find it I have it set up in such a way that it won't trace back to me." Terra said. "As for your friend I have found a few files that might help shed some light on what happened. I am downloading those into your H.U.D. as we speak."
"Cool, thanks" Lou said. He pressed a concealed button on the rim of his hat and a visor dropped down as it activated. Moments later the files appeared on screen
"Let me highlight the important bits. Here take a look at this." Terra told Lou.
"So he was captured. How the hell did he let that happen? Terra what's this bit about "Frenzy waves"? It says he was exposed to it and that's what made him go berserk." said Lou.
"There isn't much here about how or what these waves are, it mentions where he was held captive and that he was exposed but not much more then that. He was in a place called the Fxenodrome." Terra said.
"What???? That's one of Fxeni's. Did he.." Lou didn't get a chance to finish when Terra cut him off.
"Hold on a second Lou, this file here says that the Fxenodrome was taken over by Wily during the time your friend was imprisoned. It turns out it was taken back just recently too. Hmmm, well that explains why his servers are hyper encrypted. Wait, there is more. Your friend is alive!" Terra could hear Lou breathe a sigh of relief. She continued after a moment. "Looks like he is up in a space station somewhere. He also appears to.. ahh, here we go... he seems to be confined to quarters. I see some command codes here for droids to escort and keep to keep him under guard."
"What? Why?" Lou said with anger creeping into his voice.
"Calm yourself dear, at least we now know he is alive and that it appears that he had been affected by something which would indicate that he was not himself." Reis said "Since we know your friend is safe for the moment what can we discover about how this happened to him? Terrra-byte, what about this other server you mentioned? Does it contain any information we can use?"
"That would be the WDS server. It's pretty heavily encrypted, I've been able to get some bits of infomation. It looks like this is where we can get the files for those "Frenzy Waves". There is no sneaky way of getting to them though. If you want that info I am gonna have to smash my way in. The problem is if I do that, we are gonna get locked out permanently." Terra said.
"Can you do it without Wily tracking it back to you and then us?" Lou asked as he shut off the visor.
"I think so" Terra replied sounding confident.
"Do it." Lou said
"This is gonna be fun." Terra responded as she punched in a few commands. She then grabbed her goggles from around her neck and put them on. As she did so a holographic sphere started to materialize and surround her. "Ok Lou, starting my virtual dive..... now!"
A few seconds later a virtual version of Terra appeared within the net, not far them the WDS servers.
"Ok approaching the firewall now, preparing to capture the first subroutine. Once I do that I will be able to smash through the firewall and have full access to the server, but its gonna set off every alarm here." Terra made a few motions with her hand and selected some options that appeared. "It about to get crazy in here!" As she said this she smashed through. Her holo spehere started to glow orange and a two minute timer appeared over to her left. "I'm in" she yelled.
Dr. Wily's servers went on full alert responding to the threat. "Threat Dectected! Activating Upgraded Defensive!" Said a computerized voice. "Defensive Program Online. Reaper.Exe Activating!" A swirl of data started to converge forming into a cloaked figure. It was completely black with red eerie eyes. With a wave of its hand it summoned multiple defense programs in the shape of little grim reapers. It then converted it's left hand into a scythe and pointed toward the origin of the threat and spoke "Swarm". With that the reapers started to attack.
"So you want to play." Said Terra with a smirk. She wave her hand and selected a new option. Suddenly orbs appeared around her and they rushed out to counter the reapers. As they started to destroy each other she took the opportunity to dive deeper into the server. "Come on, Come one... where is it... where is it?" She dove even deeper. Terra noticed she only had a minute left and more then half her orbs had been already destroyed. "Frenzy wave... there!" As she tried to move forward Reaper.exe appeared before her swinging his scythe. Terra managed to avoid the attack and activated another defensive option. A flash of light emitted from Terra's virtual form causing every program to slowdown. She was able to dance around Reaper.exe and reach the files.
"Ok, Lou I have the files, I don't have time to sort what is useful and what is junk so I .... Aaah" Terra screamed as Reaper.exe grabbed her neck from behind. As she was being lifted up she activated another button.
"It's over." said Reaper.exe
"You really should look behind you." Terra told him. There was a loud hum as her remaining orbs appeared behind Reaper.exe. They slammed into him knocking Terra free and as he fell they attached themselves to him and started to glow.
"What??? Nooooooo!!!!" screamed Reaper.exe
"Boom." Terra whispered, which activated the orbs self destruct subroutines. There was a massive explosion and as the wave approached her she activated her emergency shutdown and logged off.
"I GOT IT!!!!" yelled Terra into her communicator. "HAHAHA, THAT WAS AWESOME!!!"
"OW!!" Lou cried out. "My Ears!"
"Oh Sorry, it got a little intense in there" Terra apologized. "I have the information needed... and it looks like I might have a location for you two to check out. Give me a bit to sort through it."
"Excellent work Terra" said Reis. "Louis, I believe we should start preparing to move out again. She will not take long to find what we need."
Two red eyes could be seen as the smoke cleared. Reaper.exe emerged with his fist clenched in anger. He immediately started to secure the server determined not to let in anymore intruders,for if they did he would destroy them and with that he vanished.
"Cool, thanks" Lou said. He pressed a concealed button on the rim of his hat and a visor dropped down as it activated. Moments later the files appeared on screen
"Let me highlight the important bits. Here take a look at this." Terra told Lou.
"So he was captured. How the hell did he let that happen? Terra what's this bit about "Frenzy waves"? It says he was exposed to it and that's what made him go berserk." said Lou.
"There isn't much here about how or what these waves are, it mentions where he was held captive and that he was exposed but not much more then that. He was in a place called the Fxenodrome." Terra said.
"What???? That's one of Fxeni's. Did he.." Lou didn't get a chance to finish when Terra cut him off.
"Hold on a second Lou, this file here says that the Fxenodrome was taken over by Wily during the time your friend was imprisoned. It turns out it was taken back just recently too. Hmmm, well that explains why his servers are hyper encrypted. Wait, there is more. Your friend is alive!" Terra could hear Lou breathe a sigh of relief. She continued after a moment. "Looks like he is up in a space station somewhere. He also appears to.. ahh, here we go... he seems to be confined to quarters. I see some command codes here for droids to escort and keep to keep him under guard."
"What? Why?" Lou said with anger creeping into his voice.
"Calm yourself dear, at least we now know he is alive and that it appears that he had been affected by something which would indicate that he was not himself." Reis said "Since we know your friend is safe for the moment what can we discover about how this happened to him? Terrra-byte, what about this other server you mentioned? Does it contain any information we can use?"
"That would be the WDS server. It's pretty heavily encrypted, I've been able to get some bits of infomation. It looks like this is where we can get the files for those "Frenzy Waves". There is no sneaky way of getting to them though. If you want that info I am gonna have to smash my way in. The problem is if I do that, we are gonna get locked out permanently." Terra said.
"Can you do it without Wily tracking it back to you and then us?" Lou asked as he shut off the visor.
"I think so" Terra replied sounding confident.
"Do it." Lou said
"This is gonna be fun." Terra responded as she punched in a few commands. She then grabbed her goggles from around her neck and put them on. As she did so a holographic sphere started to materialize and surround her. "Ok Lou, starting my virtual dive..... now!"
A few seconds later a virtual version of Terra appeared within the net, not far them the WDS servers.
"Ok approaching the firewall now, preparing to capture the first subroutine. Once I do that I will be able to smash through the firewall and have full access to the server, but its gonna set off every alarm here." Terra made a few motions with her hand and selected some options that appeared. "It about to get crazy in here!" As she said this she smashed through. Her holo spehere started to glow orange and a two minute timer appeared over to her left. "I'm in" she yelled.
Dr. Wily's servers went on full alert responding to the threat. "Threat Dectected! Activating Upgraded Defensive!" Said a computerized voice. "Defensive Program Online. Reaper.Exe Activating!" A swirl of data started to converge forming into a cloaked figure. It was completely black with red eerie eyes. With a wave of its hand it summoned multiple defense programs in the shape of little grim reapers. It then converted it's left hand into a scythe and pointed toward the origin of the threat and spoke "Swarm". With that the reapers started to attack.
"So you want to play." Said Terra with a smirk. She wave her hand and selected a new option. Suddenly orbs appeared around her and they rushed out to counter the reapers. As they started to destroy each other she took the opportunity to dive deeper into the server. "Come on, Come one... where is it... where is it?" She dove even deeper. Terra noticed she only had a minute left and more then half her orbs had been already destroyed. "Frenzy wave... there!" As she tried to move forward Reaper.exe appeared before her swinging his scythe. Terra managed to avoid the attack and activated another defensive option. Not far from Lou's Safe house.
"So how shall we proceed?" asked Reis. "You must have some idea on what to do next."
"Yeah wandering around isn't really gonna get us anywhere, that's why I'm waiting for Terra to return my call. I am gonna have her use her hacking skills to find out as much as possible. I couldn't find much using the laptop but maybe she can access something." Lou replied
"Then I recommend we stop and wait for her. I understand that you are worried for your friend, but it won't help matters if we are heading in the wrong direction." She moved over to a tree as she said this and sat down. "Come, sit by me and tell me more of this world."
For the next hour Lou spoke about crazy stories that took place in RPM. He told her about his friendship with PB. Then he spoke of other people like Vixy the founder of RPM, Sakura the apprentice, Fxeni who he called the "Warrior Inventor", he also mentioned PBPB, Zeta, and some others. He was interrupted when the communicator went off.
"Hey Lou, you rang?" asked a cheerful Terra.
"Yeah, need you to gather some intel." Lou responded. " I want you to find out what happened to Greg, but he goes by Protoman Blues or PB. See what networks you can tap into"
"Ok, that shouldn't be too hard. That laptop I gave you had a secondary purpose, after you connected to the net it started sending out worms that began infiltrating servers."
"I don't remember asking you to... you know what, never mind." Lou sighed as he said that.
"You know how she is, did you actually believe she would not take this chance to infiltrate the networks found in this world?" Reis asked.
"Alright let's see what we have here...." Terra said. She typed in a few commands and selected some of the options on her holo-display. "Alright, checking on the servers that I have access to. I have access to some but not all and the access varies depending on the server"
"Give me a list on what you have." Lou said
"We have some servers labeled w.shack , then a VixyGC, and let's see what else." Terra selected another option "Then some really heavily encrypted ones, ISS and SS69 servers which are linked, then the WDS one, and finally some labeled FXE. Wow, these FXE are extremely encrypted and seems like it was upgraded pretty recently too."
"The WDS, ISS, and SS69 servers would probably be our best bet. I would avoid the FXE servers. I know who those belong to and I really don't want people to know I am here." Lou said. "It's still not gonna be easy, Wily most likely has a bunch of traps in his server and the other two have an A.I. floating around in them.

Back at Ninja Lou's safe house.
"Oh my god... what is happening ... Run.. RUN!!!!!" said the voice in the video.
"Forget the damn the phone ... just run you idiot!" yelled a female voice. "Quick down this alley!!"
The video showed the woman running down the alley, as they emerged they came across a glowing red figure. "No it can't be... Is that Prot.." There was a flash of red and the video went dead.
"As you can see in this video recovered at the scene that the very same people that were here to protect us are also the ones that destroyed our fair city." said the reporter. "Sure you can say that the Resistance were the ones that "saved" us, but is that what really happened?? The battle was between members of this "resistance", was this some sort of internal struggle for power? Was this a renegade member that was working for Wily's forces?? Reports say that Wily bots were on scene, was the resistance trying to fight them off to save us or was Wily here to help us??? Now the resistance is here, trying to help us rebuild... but are they really here to help? Do they have a hidden agenda that we are unaware of? We will bring you more as it develops and ..."
Lou shut off that screen. "Why are people so stupid." he said, anger creeping into his voice.
Reis was standing behind him. She was calm, after all she knew her husband and she knew someone had to remain objective. "Calm yourself Louis. You are letting your emotions get the best of you again." She put her hand on his shoulder.
Lou was staring at another screen which had a photo of his friend in his enraged state. "I don't get it, Greg doesn't get this angry. It doesn't make sense"
"People change, you have been missing for quite some time now Louis. You don't know what could have happened in that time." Reis said. "Yet taking into account the things you have told me about him. This seems like an extreme change in personality, he seems like a mindless monster."
"Yeah, I know, I know." Lou said as he started another video. "Damn it! I can't find out anything else... I know the battle ended but I can't find out what happened to him. I need to know if he is still alive and what his state of mind is. All I know is that Vixy won somehow."
"Can you not contact someone within this resistance? I am sure you can find out about your friend if you do" Reis replied as she leaned forward and put her arms around Lou. "You have friends there, correct?"
"Yes, but with the state that this place is in I dunno if they will believe it's really me. I have been gone for sometime now. They probably assumed I was dead. Also I don't want to take the chance of Wily figuring out that I am back. Last thing I need is for him to send a wave of robots here." Lou leaned back into her embrace and held her hand.
"Ah, is that like those metal men we once fought?" Reis asked.
Lou nodded. "Close enough."
"How do you wish to proceed? If you do not want to risk contacting anyone the only course of action is for us to venture out and find out for ourselves." Reis said.
"Yeah I think you're right babe, time for us to head out and find out what happened to my friend."
"We knew you would not be able to avoid getting into trouble." said one of the dragons within Lou.
Lou stayed silent and grabbed his sword. He turned to see that Reis had summoned her armor to her. With her sword attached to her waist and her shield on her back she leaned on the door and smiled at him. He nodded to her and they both headed out.
In another place the air started to swirl and a rift in space and time started to occur. Dark energy started to spill out as it started to open. A person emerged wearing black armor with a long black cape. Attached to his waist was a broadsword that emitted a dark aura. His eyes glowed red and he had a scar that that started above his right eye and went down to lower left side of his face. He had the blackest hair and a goatee. Around his right eye he had a tattoo of a dragon that seemed to be drawn in blood that almost glowed. He looked around around and smiled.
"Excellent, I think I finally found him." The man with red eyes thought to himself. He heard a sound behind him and saw a man standing by the road. He quickly vanished and appeared behind the man impaling him with his sword.
"W..hy?" asked the man as he reached for the blade coming out of his chest.
The man with red eyes pulled out his sword and started to walk away. He said nothing as the man died, all he did was smile as he planned to destroy the ones that had taken everything away from him.

Back at Ninja Lou's safe house another warp tunnel opened and a woman appeared, behind her was a hoverpad carrying supplies. She was beautiful with long purple hair. Her eyes matched her hair and they were the kind you could get lost in. She had a commanding presence about her, like royalty. As the portal closed she reached up to her earring and activated the built in communicator.
"Is he still here? It would be a shame if I came all this way just to find out that he has gone off wandering again" said the woman.
"Yeah, he is still there. I've been tinkering with my systems and now I have them calibrated enough so the sensor data makes sense. I still can not tell where you are though but I can see and detect things around you.." responded Terra over the communicator.
"Good." the woman said as she made her way to the cabin. She walked up to the door leaving the hoverpad behind.
There was a loud knock that caused Lou to awaken suddenly almost falling out of his chair.
"Wha? Who? Where?" Lou said a little stunned. There was another series of loud knocking as he got up and walked over to the door. "One second, be right there" As he opened the door he saw the purple haired woman standing there. She was taller then he was by a few inches. She moved with grace as she walked past him and sat down in the chair.
"It is nice that you are actually taking some time to rest. You have been engaging in combat with your enemies continuously since we returned to your world." said the woman. She then pulled out a small device and pressed a button. The hoverpad outside came to life and entered the room.
"Reis, you worry too much about me. Besides they needed to know that I was back. I am glad you came though." Lou responded with a smile. He turned and walked over to the hoverpad. "Terra really came though with the supplies, it shouldn't take us long to get this place cleaned up"
"We? I don't see a reason why I have to clean up your place." Reis said as she headed to the door. "I will be by the lake." She smiled and left.
Three hours later Reis had returned from her walk and Lou had finished getting the cabin back in shape. Reis had brought a tablet with her to do some reading. Since she was from another world she took whatever free time she had to learn about her new home and was adapting quickly. Lou on the other hand was swearing under his breath trying to get the laptop working.
"Terra when I said I needed a laptop I meant just a laptop." Lou growled into his communicator. "Not this super computer with a holo-keyboard and multiple holoscreens!"
"You said you wanted "a new laptop with all your added goodies"" responded Terra, while trying to imitate his voice. "So I sent you my best! I'm sooooorry it's not good enough"
"When I said all your goodies I meant having something along the lines of having Ys, Skyrim, or even Tetris installed!"" Lou said. "It's not even powering on and I have tried everything."
"Have you tried plugging it in?" Terra asked.
"Not funny." Lou growled.
"Have you tried turning it on and off?" Terra asked with a smirk.
"I dislike you" Lou said almost defeated. "I think it's broken, I might need you to send me another."
Reis looked up from her tablet and shook her head. She walked over to Lou and rolled her eyes. Her hand reached over to the side of the laptop and pulled out a cable. After plugging it in the laptop came to life, multiple screens appeared and the holo-keyboard shimmered to life before Lou. She then smiled at Lou and went back to the bed to continue her reading.
"I KNEW IT!!!!!" Terra yelled over the communicator.
Lou covered the communicator and turned to Reis. " You do know there'll be no living with her after this."
Reis just shrugged and tapped on her tablet to turn the page.
"Ok Lou, I have you online now and even hacked into a few servers. They won't know you are in there." Terra said. "Am I good or am I good? Anyway I am getting a transmission from J.D. so I need to take off, try not to break it." and with that Terra logged off.
Lou logged into the laptop and started opening news feeds "Alright now that this is up and running, Reis come here let me show you somethings about RPM. You can learn the layout of the land and it's people while I catch up on some of the things I have missed since the last time I was here. I am curious to find out what kind of craziness I have missed"

Meanwhile at a undisclosed area of RPM a warp tunnel appears and a figure emerges.
"You said I needed a break, so that's why I had you bring me here." Ninja Lou said into the communicator built in his cap. "This is an old safe house I haven't used in forever. I think the last time I was here was sometime before I was sucked into that rift."
Lou took a look around at his surroundings, the safe house was a cabin in a forested area with a lake nearby. It was the perfect place to relax.
"I know we told you to take a break" A voice replied "But we meant something along the lines of taking a nap in your quarters and taking a few days off. Not to use the warp tunnel to go to ..... Hell, I don't even know where you are! It's like you aren't even on the planet anymore but you have to be because I can still talk to you."
"Relax Terra, this is a safe place, a little crazy, but safe." Lou replied as he walked over to the cabin.
"No really, the information from the sensors in your hat make no sense. My computers are giving me conflicting information." Terra said as she punched in a few commands into her Holo-keyboard. " Are you sure you want to.."
"Trust me, I'll be fine" Lou interrupted as he entered the key-code to unlock the door to the safe house.
The door slid open and Lou was met with a gust of stale air, the safe house seemed to have been untouched the whole time. He took a few steps in and inspected the cabin. There was a thin layer of dust covering everything. It was small consisting of a room and a bathroom, but it suited Lou's needs. There was a storage locker filled with equipment ranging from shurikens to medical supplies. A chair and table was located in the middle of the room with an open laptop on it. There was a small bed off to a corner. Along the back wall near the bed there was a closet which contained replacement battle suits and various clothing, all out of date he thought to himself. Finally the right corner was the kitchen area, which was nothing more then a wood-burning stove and a cabinet containing some canned food, all expired.
"So what are you going to tell people when they asked where you have been all this time?" Asked Terra over the communicator. "It's pretty unbelievable and not exactly a short story"
"I'll tell them the truth, I've repeated it so many time that I can say it pretty quickly now and cover all the important highlights" As Lou said this he hit a few keys on the laptop, as expected it was dead.
"Really? This I have to hear." said Terra with a smirk.
"Basically, My team and I went to seal a demonic dimensional rift, killed the demon causing it, the rift became unstable, I was sucked into a medieval world before it closed, found it to be inhabited by dragons that can take human form, was pulled into a civil war, help end civil war, got married, wife was murdered, went on quest to avenge wife, avenged wife, found out she was not really dead, went on quest to restore her, saved wife, you found a way to bring me back, came back with allies, and here I am" As he finished he let out a deep breath. "See, easy"
"Let's see where to begin..... A, that wasn't that short, B, that was kinda hard to believe, C, that time flowed differently there, and D, you left out the part where you got a lot more powerful." Terra replied.
"It wasn't that long, besides I want to keep the power thing to myself. However I see your point though the dragon/civil war thing is hard to swallow." said Lou as he walked over to the cabinet.
"Not that.... You getting married???? No one is gonna believe that!!!" Terra said as she started to laugh.
Lou rolled his eyes.
"I walked into that" Lou said
He reached into the cabinet and pulled out a can of pasta. He barely opened it before the stench of rotten food reached him.
"Ugh, that horrible" He said as he incinerated it with a short burst of energy. "Ok Terra, I am gonna need a bunch of supplies warped in. I will need a few battle suits and hats, food and water, a new laptop with all your added goodies, a broom, and a duster... this place needs a good cleaning."
"You are suppose to to be relaxing." Terra said as she punch in what Lou requested. "Ok give me about an hour or so and I should have everything ready to be warped in. Oh, almost forgot Reis said she might drop by later, she is curious and would like to see this... RPM place. Anyway let me get back to work. Talk to you later."
Lou sat down. It's been sometime since he was last here, even with all the craziness that happens, he missed the fun that he had here in RPM. While reflecting on his time spent here a voice spoke to him from the back of his mind.
"We believe that this rest in long overdue Louis"
"Yes, ever since your return you have been working non-stop helping people and making sure that your enemies knew that" said another voice.
Lou smiled, the voices that he heard were that of the Dragon Sword, his weapon which contained the souls of the first two dragons, sometimes called the Twin Dragon Gods. They were two of his closest friends, one he called D (who resembled a European type dragon), and the other S (who resembled a snake like Japanese dragon).
"Yeah, yeah I know" Lou said out loud. "It gonna be a nice few days relaxing and not having to worry about anything."
Lou leaned the chair back and threw his feet on the table. Then lowered his cap to cover his eyes.
"See, easy day." Lou said.
"With you, we have found that never to be the case" D replied.

« on: June 15, 2013, 11:59:45 AM »Toon Link, Well first of all there's been TWO link clones and neither was in both Melee and Brawl (And they were pretty much the same), and Wind Waker HD coming soon keeps him relevant.
I dunno about Toon Link, I think he might get replaced. Both games are suppose to have the same roster but if he is in the background of the 3DS Spirit Tracks then he might not be in the 3DS version of the stage and that would mean he isn't in the Wii U version. Then again they pull a Capcom (Peter Parker/Spider-man think it was MSH), but I don't think that is very likely. I remember telling this to someone but he countered with Donkey Kong in 75m, but that Kong is Cranky Kong when he was young.
They could keep the WW HD theme in there by using Zelda or WW Ganon (who was a bad ass)

Watch the Developer Direct, and Sakurai states how he'll be able to grab any projectile/blast attack and send it back to his opponent.
So unless you use characters that excel at close-range combat, it seems Villager will always have the advantage against folks like Mega Man, Samus or any one else that specializes in projectile/blast attacks.
Fox's reflect sends back everything also (well maybe not the fan, I forget). So I don't think that the grab will be that bad. Some characters have more then one reflect too.

As much as I love Ike I think he might end up like Roy and be removed and replaced with a current F.E. character, so I bet Chrom will make it. I would like Lucina to be her own character though, and I doubt they would put her and Marth in the game together. Maybe if she doesn't make it she will be a skin for Marth with a female voice. I love Marth but I rather have Lucina.

Wasn't Marth's identity one of the biggest secrets in the game? The only reason I knew was because I accidently spoiled myself on gFAQs.
I think it was pre-release, but she has become really popular and has her own Figma figure coming out. So I am sure Nintendo wants to market her as much as possible now.
