Mine died when I tried playing the final DLC map and noticed that even on Normal/Casual the enemies have capped stats.

I've been playing P3:FES still though. Just beat the second Full Moon boss and the second block of Tartarus.

More "just 'cuz".  It occurs to me that before attempting Apatheosis I should probably start whoring Limit Breaker.  But besides that, I also have the entire "Future Past" set and Roster Rescue unfinished yet.  And I've done one HELL of a lot of grinding on Lunatic + for a long, long time.

My copy is staring me in the face right now...

Well, some sound advice...throw any and all Sol abilities out the window. Be ready with Vantage and Luna/Veangance.

Astra has it's moments as well, especially if you have a high crit chance.

I've been playing Dust: An Elysian Tail. Quite fun, actually.

I'm working on fixing an old PS2 that used to belong to a guy who lived here. Hopefully, given the price GameStop has on it online, I will be able to boot up my childhood.

Man, I remember the nostalgia attacks just playing it on emulator (which sucked because none of my computers can handle it). If I can play it with a real controller on my TV... 0v0

Who was your favorite character to play?

Hmm...

I liked Jaster, though Zelgius was a close second.

(also, Jupis is voiced by Ben Diskin, who also voices Young Master Xehanort in KH3D... completely different voices but they're the same VA so yeah >0<)

My childhood favorite was Jaster, but I really enjoyed playing as Kisala back when I played it on emulator.

You know, whenever Kisala DIDN'T cause my characters to fall through the map. Damn glitchy emulator...

And don't you mean Zegram?

I'm playing Half-Life 2, and I found out that the broken rollermine that DOG plays with just before the Ravenholm chapter can not only be taken to the next level, but actually stays active in between maps, following me around and distracting zombies. It was so cute that I named it Ron and vowed to protect it and keep it safe from harm.

However I now have limited my arsenal of thrown items... give me a room full of red barrels and I'm gonna get stuck throwing Ron at people. Plus Ron, despite being bulletproof and zombieproof, is not fireproof or electricproof (basically anything involving a trigger_hurt or fire damage), which will be a challenge when fire traps get abundant.

It makes Zombie Chopper so much easier.

Huh, Vantage/Vengeance, why didn't I think of that?  ...well, there is the fact that I hate maintaining low HP as a deliberate part of strategy; I've experimented with Vantage and really dislike how easily it can get you killed in higher difficulties.

It's a shame, Counter/Lifetaker is such an outrageously awesome combo, but in Apo, EVERYONE has Dragonskin, so that doesn't help any...

So, I caved and got the Ace Attorney trilogy for the iPad.  Free to play the first two episodes.  I've read the reviews, and they're mixed, so I'll try it out, see if it's as buggy as people say, and decide from there if I want to pay for the rest of the game.

Knowing how much I love the game, I'll be dropping the cash.  Bugs?  I play around with alpha-stage programs with poor user interfaces.  I'd play Phoenix Wright via command line.

Still playing Dune 2000. Onto my Atreides campaign, after being satisfied at clearing the more frustrating Ordos campaign. I'm already at the 6th Atreides mission.

Fear me.

[parasitic bomb] I ordered that I'm using to fix my PS2 is taking its sweet ass time to ship.

Ordered the PS2 controller to PS3 adaptor (which I will admit isn't related but still useful if my efforts are in vain, at least I have a PC-compatible controller that is better than the [tornado fang]ing garbage I used to play CSGO the other day >_<) two days ago. Never shipped. I asked them where it is. They're "shipping it today". Still hasn't shipped. Box icon is still gray.

If my AV and power cables ship before the adaptor (both ordered one day ago), I will be so pissed.

It finally shipped, frustration crisis averted.

Explain to me why I just read CSGO and Controller in the same paragraph?
Because even if you're playing it on a PS3 I'm pretty sure you can plug in a USB keyboard and mouse.
There is no excuse unless you're playing it on 360.

I just wanted to know what playing a FPS is like for a console gamer. Especially since I'm about as poor as one -_-

Normally I PC it though. But what's wrong with playing it with a controller? *in a JonTron-style slow, trying-not-to-insult voice* ...ah mean...people do it in call of duty...riiiight? ya know calladoody?

edit: still kinda judgemental to say somethin' like that.

modern console FPS are what stagnates the genre and drags everyone down in the process so i can see where he's coming from on something as simple as control preference.

I mean, like...Not really "judgemental" but more... I hate to say a strong word like ignorant?

Like Derek said, it all comes down to control preference, and it's not the controller that makes CoD gamers bad for us all...it's the game.

Though I originally got the adapter on the off chance that the PS2 ends up being unfixable, I could at least try emulation...

I was being sarcastic. I've plugged my controller and mapped some HL2 to it as well just to give it a try. I see where Supp's coming from.
