The PS3 version has been patched. If you want to talk badly about this game, check the 360 version. We can't even get the patch we so desperately need because Microsoft is being a douche about the file size for updates (the same thing happened with Fez), which at this point makes me want to buy the PC version if the 360 version stays as a somewhat unfinished game.

Guy on Reddit offered to gift me both the Half-Life 2 episodes. The feels are overflowing. The internet is so kind sometimes.

Yes. Exactly.
I don't hate it, but I'm not crazy about it either. The fighting system seems just, well, not BAD, but [tornado fang]ing boring. Perhaps I'm spoiled by games such as GG and BB (or even KOF).

And I do have it patched. I did it immediately after I heard it came out, because I've been [tornado fang]ing hoping it will bring about new interest. But alas. It just dosen't work for me as much as I hoped it would.

I mean, [tornado fang]. I can't even bring myself to play Story Mode.

I'll try again once those new DLC charas are released. If that' will not work, I'm just ignoring it from that point.

That guy on Reddit actually followed through. I now own both HL2 episodes plus it came with HLDM Source. My heart. It is warmed.

EDIT: Aaaaand Half Life Source just popped up on my library. Four games. I scored four games thanks to a stranger on the internet whom I haven't even spoken to up until last night.

So me and my friend watched the three first episodes of Justice League cartoon.
It was my first time viewing it in some time, for him it was THE first.

At the end of the three parter (well, actually during it) we got to the conclusion that Superman was the most useless character in this series opener.

Seriously, he got [parasitic bomb] on majorly.

He was the one who got most damage, the most falls, and the most stupid "battle tactics". What the [tornado fang]?!
I mean not even he's invincible, but to be that [tornado fang]ing lame in the series opening, that's just pathetic.

At least we had some laughs. But it seems like I was right. The first season definitely wasn't as good as season 2 onwards.

They pretty much do it to every invulnerable character to show how dangerous a villain or threat is. Luckily somebody at Justice League took a hint.

He's like this in Justice League and Unlimited, all the [tornado fang]ing time. It's like Pyro said, it's because of his invulnerability. They love having Supes take 70% of the physical damage in battle.

On another note, I think Batman is severely underplayed in JL and Unlimited. He has some cool moments, but there aren't nearly enough hand-to-hand combat scenes or scenes where he invents something useful to counter an enemy. While he may be a part-time leaguer, most of the others take up way to much screen time.

However, I am extremely glad they gave him moments such as when he stayed with Ace until she passed away or the "Epilogue" episode.

Huh? Batman received ample exposure in JL and Unlimited to my memory and proved instrumental in many of their victories. Even to the point where I (affectionately) call him "Batty Sue."

Well, maybe "severely" is too strong of a word. But he still didn't seem quite as vital to their battles as I'm used to seeing him.

He used mech armors in the comics and electric brass knuckle-type gloves on Brave in the Bold (and of course, the comics). Even in TAS, if I recall, he had a much bigger arsenal of gadgets.

In JL, he mostly uses batarangs, which doesn't always prove useful.
