Floaty jumps are awesome.
Oh yeah, so genral SMB2 thread I guess. Despite being a faker, it gave us many many things we enjoy. Like the Shy Guys! And Birdo! I'm a bit sad that the other bosses never returned to the Mario series.

Rockman Series / Your Mega Man Series!

Well, Let's try this, shall we?
The most common thing next to making one's own RobotMasters/Mavericks/Biometals would be making your own Mega Man subseries. Did you ever thought about making your own? Was it a spinoff a la BN or RnR? Was it a "What if..." series using some of the official characters? Or Did you think of something that happens during the gaps between each saga?
Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas.

I'm reviving this topic for a reason: La Mulana is a fantastic game. And brutally hard.
I mean seriously, you don't get how great this game is until you played it. It's like Metroid on steroids. There so much to explore. And the soundtrack, my god the soundtrack! It's amazing!
All I can do is to recommend you this game. It's really that good.
Please try it. I don't want to be the only one on RPM who played this.

Even though we will not get a sequel in the next few years, I still felt like making this topic.
I'm currently replaying this, and it's fantastic. Anybody else played these games?
They're simple and light hearted RPGs. If you enjoy turn based roleplaying games with stats in reasonable dimensions (e.g.: Lunar 1+2 and Breath of Fire 3) you should totally give this one a try. Both games are really long and the puzzles can grind your brain to dust (At least... that's what they did with mine).

I know RPM is no real RPG fort, but I'll ask anyway.
Got this for Christmas, and remembered that I love Tri-Ace games. They just make great adventures. Like last year, when I got Valkyrie Profile 2.
I'm 4 hours in, and probably missed half of all possible quests.
After I'm done, I'm gonna finish the Seraphic Gate, one of the best optional dungeons ever.

Is that:
- MM2 has the best Wily Stages.
- MM3 is the best overall.
- MM4 has the best non-Wily final stages, including fitting music.
- MM5 is the prettiest of the 8-bit games, with some real gems among its soundtrack (such as the intro theme and the final battle music).
- MM7 is the best non-8-bit classical Mega Man, with the second best Wily stages.
- MM8 has some really cool bossmusic and DUO!
- MM9 found its own style despite various attempts to recreate MM2.
You guys can share your thoughts too!

WHOOPIE! I made a poll. I wondered, which bosstheme (the music that plays while fighting a boss DURR) do you like most?
This includes Sigma-Stage Bosses, and Sigma himself.
Personally, I'm quite fond of X4 and X5. But X8 was nice too.

Anyone ever played this? I just recently found out about it. It's pretty awesome. All about combat and beat. Or combeat.
If you haven't played it you definitely should.
I'm playing the fire guy right now (Hibito?) and encountered Zeke. Defeated him and got no special reward. I hate it when that happes.

I just recently noticed how much I like Reaper Sigma... or Sigma X4 in general. His second for not so much. X5 had a cool one too, once he drops his wing-cape.
X7 is probably my least favorite... He just seems... dumb.
