you don't have to shade them. I've found that the simpler the drawing, often the better it looks. Her pic, along with most all other robo-bosses except bomb-woman, is 186 x 231. You could also make it bigger if necessary, but I just figured on some sort of standard size for all. I'll post a rar-archive of all the original BMP files once I find them/organize them all.

I just tried Grafx2... no way can i use that :o I think i'll just stick with SAI or Ms-paint. You've got to be an incredible artist if you can draw proto man with that program.

Also--does Sniper J have an existing design?...something tells me he already does.

Actually he doesn't. I've been too busy drawing female robos that i've yet to draw a single male. I like your design, but isn't the knife a bit much? As for the style shift, i think it might be good. That way i get to keep my hentai-ish drawings in obscurity while making this game much more accessible to the faint of heart.

Also, i read in 'Ready, Proto?' that you use Grafx2. I've never used that program... Is it any good? I'll try it out anyway, but i just thought i'd ask.

Your mod looks fine, but if you would not mind doing a total re-draw, that'd probably be even more cool. Personally, i don't think people like my artwork. It may be too adult-themed/ too hentai-ish for most, especially since this is an action game and not a hentai game. As for the alternate outfit, i've already got the 3d-model.



 The goal was for me to do every in-game pic of Roll twice, one with normal jumpsuit and another with the alternate outfit.

I stopped just because the boobs were just too gawd-damn BIG :| Not to mention the suggestiveness of the chest region. Personally, i think i just went too far into making her straight Hentai material.

After seeing/looking at it the day after i drew it, i just knew i had to stop. (Yeah, that's suppose to be armor O_O)

As for SAI, yeah, that's what i use too. Normally after i draw something that's ready to put in the game, I just clean the border/outline of whatever it is i drew so you get a clean cookie-cutout with no artifacts.

 8U OK here's my rendition of Jump-Girl / Hologram-Girl. Helmet / No Helmet, since I've never seen a helmet on Jump Girl. I think it's better that way anyway.

thanx, but I didn't use real hardware in anyway to make this. No comm link, no Catela, nothing. Just a psy-q dev kit and ePSXe. I think what you meant to say was, "for Ps1." I just waste a CD and use real hardware once everytime I'm done with a new boss, then it's back to ePSXe.

Here's another update. I've just added PLANT WOMAN. THANX RADIX for the character design and the idea of slinging Roll across the stage. (which is not in this video BTW, I died to soon before I could get tossed...)

Thanks. Um, but hold off on Burst Woman for right now. I gotta program in CUT ELEC FIRE and a whole bunch of other stuff. The original 6 take priority. After that, I can just throw in the Farm.



You are making all the RMs as plump girls. While I don't really have anything to argue about that (to each their own), it wouldn't be such a bad to add some variations on the character's build.

For the Boss fight with Plant Woman, did you have anything in mind, like a specific AI / Behavior / Fight Pattern?? Or do you just want me to make her HARD as hell? And what about the Stage layout? Again, anything specific you had in mind? And Lastly, what about the weapon you get. I was thinking a Vine Whip that can take out bullets/projectiles, and a Plant Barrier Super Shield.

So in other words, Mega gets captured, and It's up to Roll to get him back safely.

OK, how bout this... Instead of him getting jumped at night, how bout Mega and Roll go on a mission together (in the day) to stop wily and his shenanigans, and at the end of the mission (stage) Rock gets captured by wily while fighting protoman and sniper J. And now it's up to Roll to save the day. How does that sound?  8)

I thought about using Sniper J sorta the same way BreakMan/Proto fights you midway thru the game. Sort of like Shingo from KOF.

Also, somewhere before the last battle with wily, you have to fight Megaman who is under mind control. By defeating him, you save him and he gets sent back to base and Roll has to do the last battle, or better yet, maybe Megaman can fight along side Roll during the last battle. Anything's possible really.

nah, I wouldn't want to change proto, only the robot masters. I was originally planning on putting in a story, but I've been kind of hesitant with putting any kind of text in right now./ To be honest, I've had so many ideas that i could put in this thing that It'd be almost impossible to implement them all. But yeah, I was planning on having sniper joe in this game too, renaming him sniper J and having him helping wily, sort of like how Protoman helps wily in the cartoons. So yeah, I was planning on putting male characters in, but not right now.

Honestly, I had to go youtube check up on that character. Appartently, he's the easiest boss in MM6. Oh well...

If you can do what LS_Dracon did for Slash Woman, I'd be happy to put your character in.
LS_Dracon is from Atari Age Forums. He did a sketch design and helped do the 3D model and color scheme, he's good with 3D Studio. I'm not asking you to do the 3D Model part, Me or Him (if i ask) can do it, all i'm asking is for somewhere to start from.

Well, I was planning on just flipping each gender, but I can put MALE ROBOs in too! If anyone wants to play, It works on real hardware too, you just need a boot type disc like ps x change or a mod chipped playstation. Just be sure to pick hardware mode at the boot-up screen. If you play on Emu, use ePSXe. That's what I use anyway.

Also, if you play it on real hardware and it doesn't load or it freezes, please let me know. Sometimes I forget to verify file sizes which in turn verifies boot-ability. It's easily correctable, it's just sometimes i forget...
