Depends where you look. There have been 14 official written works, two of which are ongoing volumes, one of which had minimal direct involvement from ZUN and skirts the line of fanon. Two are also compendiums with official character profiles written in-universe from another character's perspective and gives a bit further insight on human relations and danger, all on top of existing text profiles found in every single game. Most fans just don't pay attention, to be honest. I can't even consider myself that well-versed in it since I'm no moonspeaker and lack a great deal of knowledge on the existing mythologies and histories that heavily tie in to the basis of pretty much every single thing.
