Also strange as it sounds it may sound weird but Ultra Beasts may not be Pokemon and we don't have clear confirmation that they are in fact Pokemon.

Ultra Beasts are a new concept introduced in Pokémon Sun & Moon. The true nature of Ultra Beasts are not yet known but they possess powers that could pose a threat to humans and Pokémon

Then there's Type-Null, we know it's a synthetic Chimera Pokemon made to adapt to any situation and the helmet is made to "control its latent power" but hinder agility so it's probably going to get a second form.  There's also the fact that the helmet has Arceus' ring motif......

I just love the fact that Sun and Moon are having quite a few mysteries going on now and actual ambiguity unlike the kind of fake ambiguity with Team Plasma.

I just hate that Munna kicking scene because it gave away the fact that at least half of Plasma are not morally ambiguous way too soon.  Hell if that scene wasn't there we probably wouldn't know until the very end.

Well, even the first introduction of Team Plasma via the public rally by Ghetsis was pretty suspicious too. Cheren even commented at how the citizens were easily swayed by Ghetsis' charisma.

Another new Japanese Trailer not much there though it seems to confirm that Lana's Trial is probably going to be stopping a Wishiwashi, the names of Pokemon Ride Pokemon like Lapras Swim, Sharpedo Jet, and Charizard Flight and there's a different Oak who lives in Alola who talks about Regional Differences.  I'm going to guess he's Samuel's Cousin.

Most people say he's the same Oak but I'm going to wait until we get official confirmation on that because I don't think Oak can grow his hair that fast, or at least as much as I advocate that the anime rarely has anything to do with the games I don't think anime Oak is going to change his look.

So, some CoroCoro leaks are floating around, revealing more Ultra-Beasts, evolutions of Rockruff, and the one thing everyone is looking forward to... The Alola arc of the anime!

So first up, 2 Ultra-Beasts that are given the designation UB-02: UB-02 Beauty, and UB-02 Expansion. UB-01 also has a name, but it's currently a mystery but will hold a deep meaning.


Apparently, UB-02 Beauty is facing off Tapu Koko is Pokemon Moon, while in Pokemon Sun it's UB-02 Expansion.


Next up, Rockruff has a branch evolution depending on the time of day.
If bathed in the sunlight, Rockruff evolves into Lugarugan Midday Form, and knows the new move AccelRock.



If bathed in the moonlight, Rockruff evolves into Lugarugan Midnight Form, and knows the move Counter.



The leaks also mentioned that in the next issue of CoroCoro, the true strength of Type: Null will be revealed. There's also something relating to Pokemon GO... Are the Alolan Forms related to it?


The Alola arc of the anime has Ash and Pikachu attending school in Alola, and his goal is to graduate. He will receive a Z-Ring, and meet up with Tapu Koko. The Alola arc will air in November this year.
