After Ahrzayl does her thing, I vote for a time-skip, unless White-Jet has any plans. If anything, though, I plan to cut to Team Rocket and skip ahead a bit, anyway. Pyro and I need to get the ball rolling on a couple things on their end.

It may include some insights into Giovanni's past, which may help explain some of his alcoholism. Traumatic childhood for the win!

There's still Carr, who's either about to make his presence known when Ahrzyal starts to explain her actions to the two members that inadvertently helped her escape, or Jessie, James and Meowth shows up, demanding he hands back the cards he "stole" off of them.

And Chariot is still on the mountain where Mewtwo was being held, watching the remaining members of Team Rocket leave, though I doubt there's anything they can do to him other than chase him and Excalibur out with or without noticing the card tucked in Excalibur's fur.

Looks like no rest for the weary. At some point, I'll cut to Team Rocket and tackle a perimeter sweep, where they'll mostly chase Chariot away, if they spot him. Their focus will be on securing the perimeter, then on relocation, as their security has been compromised.

Someone was playing with firecrackers, so Mabel's nervous. She growled and is now laying on the floor behind my chair.

Which makes me tempted to give Mewtwo more catlike quirks. He's fine with thunder, as evidenced by that he'll freely make his own storms, but what about firecrackers? If someone sets off a firecracker, does his tail poof up and he starts growling?

That will be Mewtwo's next action, then. Just need a good opportunity for him to do that. Reuniting with Quickie and the others... not quite as good an opportunity.

"I am glad to be back, but we have other--" Mewtwo turned away and his shoulders began heaving as his stomach lurched. "Huack! Huack! Huack! HWARF!" After spitting the hairball on the ground, he coughed a few times, wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, then returned his gaze to the others. "I apologize for that. What was I saying?"

Well, our cats deposited such lovely gifts at the door, as we wouldn't let them bring it inside. Then, there were the times when the cats would kill something, eat it, and leave its guts on the porch...

...which is something that Mewtwo won't be doing because it's simply horrifying.

Oh, yes, and let's not forget what non-neutered male cats do! Thank Arceaus Mewtwo doesn't do that!

Even the stray that used to live in my backyard didn't drop gifts. But she was female, so male cats did do that to her.

The male strays had a habit of spraying everything. Everything. As I said, thank Arceus that Mewtwo doesn't do that, particularly when we factor in how big cats spray.
