The reason I ask is because I have obtained an info/art book called 'The Complete Pokemon Pocket Guide' #(1), and it contains artwork of Mewtwo I have never seen online before. It's got a back pose, and a few other ones I'd like to get my hands on. If not, I suppose I could try and scan them from my book.

Of course, this book has other artwork of pokemon too in this anime style. But I can't remember if they all existed online somewhere or not.

Well, the trailer showed that this Mewtwo has a female voice. So, maybe it is another Mewtwo?
And go ahead with scanning... Though will it destroy the book?

That's interesting. They originally said that Mewtwo was genderless. But now they have a differently designed Mewtwo in this anime, and voiced by a female. Does that mean that there are two mewtwos? The original one being Male, and this new one with the transformation being female.

I think that's the only logical sense. Although it's still hard to tell if Mewtwo getting a gender is canon yet. Sure the anime is not based off the games. Tough in theory, if Mewtwo does have a new form, he would need to be included in the new X/Y games. If it turns out that this one gets a female gender in the game, than it will pretty much be canon, and that he finally gets a gender in this generation. Not that it would be necessary. Though I always imagined the original #150 Mewtwo being male. Not because of their VA's, but because the design of the character as well.

That's pretty sad if a minor thing such as a forme change is apparently enough to ruin your childhood.

Anyway, Sylveon/Ninfeon seems like a pokemon that would only Female. Though since Eevee is mostly Male, I bet it'll be the same deal.

Not necessarily. Well, okay I'll admit, I was probably overreacting when it was first unveiled in scans. I just can't see him as anything else. It seems to be okay with everyone else though. I just prefer the old one instead TBH. $:\$

Again you don't have to use it, and you can always toggle from the old and new form so it's not a big deal.

Well, this isn't a 'scan', but it's a picture taken from iPhone. I can try to get a better scan if needed. Though it should be enough to see if the artwork style exists online, right?

It was like brown and red, though now that I look at it it seems that it's also skin tone along with the hair.

For the girl you get pale skin and blond hair, peach skin and orange hair, or dark skin and dark hair.

For the guy you get pale and blond, peach skin and brown, and dark skin and dark hair.
