10 MINUTES LEFT UNTIL USER DATA IS BONDED WITH THE GST, the mech spoke suddenly.
"Oh right, I nearly forgot about that for a second," Phi glanced over at it.
Meanwhile, inside the GST...
"God, there's so many buttons and levers in here. How the hell am I supposed to make sense of all this?" Arche looked around the fairly spacious area.
8 minutes left until the process is complete, Mr. Archetype, the feminine voice spoke.
"GAH! Oh, it's just you. Still not used to that..."
I apologize, Mr. Archetype. Would you like to access my voice options and configure them to your liking?
His eyes widened, "Did... you just apologize? Can AIs do that?"
Of course. That is a primitive capability that many artificial intelligence units contain. I performed a quick scan of your planet's customs and regulations. I have determined the most suitable way to interact with humans.
"Huh, I guess there's still a lot I need to learn about AI," Arche said aloud, "Oh, and you don't have to be so formal, um... what should I call you?"
GST or Great Sacred Treasure.
"Nah, that sounds too formal. How about... Lucy? No, Silvia? No, that's not right... whatever, we can worry about that later. First things first: Where did you come from?"
I was created on a Planet called.... ERROR
"... Planet Error?" Arche said incredulously.
No, the planet's name cannot be pronounced in your language.
"Okay, then can you explain why you chose me?"
The data that you output is extraordinarily similar to the race that created the GST on Planet...... ERROR
He sighed, "Yes, you already told me about the Planet's incomprehensible name!" Arche wondered what it meant by "similar output".
"This GST was trapped inside a meteor, so that obviously means it landed here. Why was this sent from your home planet and into RPM? Was it an accident?"
That information is classified.
"Great, now you sound like Phi..." He grumbled.
I apologize, Mr. Archetype. Would you like refreshments?
"Like I said before: no need to be formal. You can simply call me Arche, if you'd like," He stated and continued to look around, "I'll just have to find the answers my..... Wait, did you just say refreshments...?"
This GST Unit contains one selection of liquids used on the home planet, A compartment then opened in front of Arche and he watched as a nozzle dispensed a clear blue liquid into a metal cup.
This is called Enko.
"So this thing doubles as a juice bar. That's not random in the least," He said bluntly, "No thanks, I have a policy not to drink strange blue alien liquid."
5 MINUTES UNTIL PROCESS IS COMPLETE, the GST said loudly.
He immediately covered his ears, "Do you think you could possibly dial down the volume?!" Just then, on the screen in front of him, he noticed something pop up at the corner of it. It looked like some sort of visualization to measure heartbeats, but something was different about it.
"Are these brain waves or heart measurements...?" Arche saw little to no fluctuations, and it appeared as a mostly straight line. A flatline.
