There's going to be another direct tomorrow at 2PM Pacific.

Nothing in particular, just "Showcasing Wii U and 3DS titles" so I imagine it'll show off holiday season games and early 2015 games.
I also imagine we'll see some more Amiibo functionality and more on the MK8 DLC, as Nintendo apparently accidentally leaked (and later pulled) a page that showed what the Amiibos do on MK8 (Character Costumes for Miis) and showed it worked with a bunch of Non-Mario characters as well (Link, Kirby, Samus, Cpt. Falcon and Fox to be exact.)

Here's what remains of that page.

So if you play as a Mii and you want them to have lots of additional costumes there you have it. The update that pushes that out will be on the 13th.

To be fair, the Direct that announced Hyrule Warriors was also geared towards a specific timeframe, so we could get another surprise announcement like that.

Also probably the Duck Hunt "reveal" trailer. And more on Xenoblade Chronicles X, since Soraya Saga retweeted the announcement and she only ever does that when work by her husband (the guy who made Xenoblade) is featured in the Direct.

OH, THAT'S A ROCKING MUTE CITY REMIX.

And they're finally showing Link for MK8.

SNES RAINBOW ROADDDD

I really want this update now. Gotta wait a week though.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (AKA Claymation Kirby) Multiplayer confirmed. Amiibo functionality as well, Feb 2015.

Hyrule Warriors Amiibo functionality (With the Link Amiibo) Is the Spinner from TP. All the others work to give you random materials.

Splatoon's in the second quarter of 2015. Has Campaign mode.

What's interesting is that the JP Hyrule Warriors site seems to imply that scanning the Zelda amiibo will also unlock a new weapon...

Okay, not sure if it was mentioned in the Zelda thread already but Zelda's amiibo will give you a random three-star or better weapon once a day in Hyrule Warriors, (all the others will give three-star or less weapons).

Kirby and the Rainbow curse will use amiibo's as well.

Star Fox is expected out sometime before Zelda.

Oh, and Mario Maker has SMB3 and SMW modes.  The earlier clearly shows the Raccoon tail.  Personally, I'm hoping that Yoshi and Hammer Suit make the cut (I don't expect they're stupid enough to do a SMW style without Yoshi, but you never know with him these days).

Yup, it also seems we'll be getting Red and Black XLs.  However no word on the regular New 3DS, but I'm sure we'll see them tomorrow.

Basically three separate leaks that all coincide with that date, so it's PROBABLY legit.

IMHO they need to get that out sooner rather than later if they want people to take 3DS Amiibo use seriously (not that they need a reason to justify Amiibo these days, but hey, it couldn't hurt).  My original 3DS's thumb pad has seen better days, as well, so I'm seriously considering a replacement.  I just wish the faceplates weren't exclusive to the regular-sized one.  >.>

I'll have fun knowing I'm at work and will have to catch up at, like 5PM or so.  I'd have rather gotten up at 6.  Meh, oh well.

I'll still wait until around Christmas this year until I get one, I think the regular one would be the perfect size for me.  Even the regular one is a bit too small without armor of some kind, though I got used to it after the hinge of that armor broke.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

I have an XL, but the pixels are just way too stretched out for me. It's especially noticeable for 3D games, naturally. It feels like I'm using my old Nokia phone.

The regular model's smaller screen is much crisper in comparison, and I prefer my games to be displayed in the best way possible. So, I'll get the regular New 3DS.

Lou told me that his friend from GameStop confirmed the leaked Feb 13th poster is legit, as he was looking at it in his store.

This was my problem with the DSi XL, that thing looked horrendous.  The 3DS XL seems a bit better, although to be fair most of the demos I saw were Yoshi's New Island, which isn't much of a looker to begin with.

I dunno, maybe a regular New 3DS would be better.  It's a tough call. >_<

Yeah every time I looked at an XL model nothing really looked good, the normal model has its downfalls but at least it looks sharp.

I'm getting a regular model. Its already bigger than the normal 3DS and I don't think I need the XL size.

I have [?] Block plates on mine :D

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Yea, that happened...

Game sold separately though :\

Oh, yea, no need for XL. The regular New3DS's screen is much larger and clearer than the older regular. It's been really good so far.

I wouldn't have minded if they brought both black and white regulars though, like Japan has... I had to settle for just white.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game
