And honestly, lots of people complain to NoA about the VC being a [tornado fang]ing dripfeed where we potentially get screwed out of games for months or years due to the release schedule either being so slow, they twiddle their thumbs and [acid burst] people off and don't change a damn thing for no damn reason. I'm alright with it not being the main thing of importance but they should at least pretend to care and keep older games flowing at a brisker pace.
I think they ought to open the floodgates when it comes to games that are already on Wii's VC; since they ARE selling it but just in an inferior format. Trickling in new releases is one thing; trickling in the right to change the game over to the system's native menu, that's something else.
And it's gonna be really weird if they get DS Virtual Console games up there before they start with N64. I don't know what's taking so long with that.
I actually did transfer that stuff to my Wii U. Did a NAND backup before hand, then transferred, and then restored the NAND on my Wii so everything would still be on my Wii.
Ditto. And it's a damn good thing I did, too, because one of the Wii saves was causing the transfer to fail, and it took a LOT of trial-and-error to find out what the culprit was (turned out to be Rabbids Go Home).
I never did install HBC on the WiiU, though. I fear the day that Nintendo's updates may screw with it, and I still have my Wii anyway.
