I think the trident is fine as is, however also imo the hair needs a little more balance to even the spikes out.
Maybe something like this?

I drew it in like 5 minutes then inked it in one so it's shitty to me. By the way see the hair that cames out from behind the ear? yeah i totally jacked that idea from Rockman.Exe. Not gunna lie. =P Also what the damn is with that cat nose?!

Ami Rozu - New Outfit:


Here, I also decided to see what i could do with her hair, it's really bugging me.
What i have done Is alter her bangs to make them look curly but unique from each other while allowing them to completely cover her forehead.
I have likewise altered her sideburns, they are curly to keep with the rest of her hairstyle. At the point where each sideburn starts curling back  little spikey tuft of hair sticks out to keep the idea of the spkies without making it too silly. Then I added a headpiece, just because.

I hope you like it VC. Use it if you like it, change what you see fit. Or ignore it completely. Just my two cents on her design. =]

I appreciate your effort for making a new hairstyle for Ami Rozu, but I'm sticking to my version as that's how I envision her. Though if I make a new character to appear later in my series I'll use your example to draw that character.

Also a brand new Trident Hairstyle I made this morning!

Trident-Hairstyle - New Look:


This morning, when I woked up, I got this image of Chris'
Trident-Hairstyle in a new look stuck in my head since I was
working on improving it this week.

Though I went to play video games first, the image kept on
coming back and so I started to draw as I couldn't stop
thinking about it and I had the urge to draw as well!

And this is what came out! I admit, I'm liking this new look to
the Trident-Hairstyle more and more.

It looks very natural and the extra spike really balanced out
his hair more! Though I added those little hair lines on the
back hair as a little extra and I don't think I'll add them again.

What do you think?

lol what i meant is that you know hair has a logic, it has roots then a certain direction and then an end! but the way you draw those three pongs on his head, they just reminded me of cheese sliced in three triangular parts on his head.

Dear; Ami's hair is impossible you need to change it.

I mean ok for the ball hair at the front, I thinks it's kinda cute. but there's a ..sting (at the bottom right of the pic).. in her hair and it's just..not logic or pretty lol. that's what we were trying to tell you from the beginning.

well that's why there's this.
her hair is at least logic there. And it has the "ball" hair in the front , even if changed a bit. And the sting was changed to a nice curl.

Hold on, an idea just clicked. Have her hair be used as a weapon (sort of like a whip) and such. Except with the back of the hair, you could have her use her bangs as whips instead.

You had no problem with people jacking your art. I was just trying to get your character more combat-ready. I've seen too many projects where the girl almost completely finds a chair and sits in the sidelines while watching her guy get his ass kicked by a superpower and goes "Okay, done. *pulls out a bazooka and zaps him*".

Just trying to make the character more unique here.. I've watched a few movies myself with the villan using her hairbangs as whips. It would be a nice break from lolswords.

If Ami would wield a weapon, it would be an Axe. Though the idea of her using the side bangs as a weapon it very interesting. Maybe I'll let her choke someone to death with those "whips" of hers.


Trident-Hairstyle - New Look 2:



This is my second try for the new revamped Trident Hairstyle
of Chris Yuushi for my manga project (and RPG project "TLH").

I think I got it! I like how the hair came out, and about the
face I just drew that type of face cause I felt like it. I wanted
to add a small hair-tail (or short ponytail at the end) to see
what he would look like with it.

Didn't come out the way I wanted and I think he looks good
without. I also added some elements from his old 3-spike
hairstyle to this 4-spike hairstyle to how he would look.

What do you think? Do you think this haircut look is the best
from my previous attempts?

Trident-Hairstyle - Restart:



This is my third attempt of re-designing Chris' Trident-Hairstyle.

I applied from what I learned from the recent new Trident-
Hairstyle to look how it original was and add in the new parts
to refresh the Trident-Hairstyle.

Originally the middle spike was suppose to be the
longest/largest spike of the three, but I didn't really make it
appear so making it look like the other 2 spikes.

I think it came out great! But what are your opinions on it?
