I know having an African-American James Bond will be unique, but I have to say this, I'm not a fan of the idea. Something about it doesn't sit right with me.

Personally, I think the worst Bond is Roger Moore, despite the fact that The Spy Who Loved Me is one of the best Bond movies.

Agree, Moore's tenure as Bond is where the movies went straight into Camp and Gadgets territory even though I also really really like Live and Let Die.

I think its telling that other than that I've never been able to really watch any of the Moore films other than Live and Let Die yet I've watched all the Connery, half of Dalton and Brosnan and all of Craig's. I think its a bit too early to decide a new Bond right now though.

It was a bit campy, but I think my overall problem with Moore was that he very rarely came across as threatening. Although I will say that For Your Eyes Only is an underrated Bond flick.

I'd probably like him more if he didn't stick around as long as he did. Live and Let Die is good and, as I said, The Spy Who Loved Me is one of the best Bond movies. But the more he played him, the more it just started to get to me.

My single problem with that film, and this ties into Moore as a whole, is him getting together with the much younger female lead at the very end. He was more like a father figure to her all the way through, especially since he was just trying to keep her safe from going overboard with revenge. In general though, Moore felt too old for the role from that movie onward. It made most of the arbitrary romance scenes a bit questionable. Heck, he's 3 years older than Connery to begin with, so even he felt wrong about it by the end.

Finally watched Episode 7 and I really liked it. Kylo is kind of a [sonic slicer] and went straight into douche territory at the end. I really liked all the characters Kylo aside though, but my god Kylo's co-worker really devoured the scenery in nearly every scene he was in. I swear that dude was going to pop a blood vessel somewhere.

BB-88 is best Droid, I really like Finn and Poe/Pole/Cole/whatever the heck his name actually is, I can see them having an amazing bromance if the latter gets a significant part in the next movie. I really want to see what the heck is Rey's deal and her back story, she kind of intrigues me. I certainly don't think she's really that much of a Mary Sue though. She definitely has some issues that I hope gets more explored in the next movie.
