A week ago, after watching AVGN talk about the Hammer Dracula movies, and another non Hammer Lee was in, I decided to watch it. The Jesus Franco Dracula movie from 1970.

Started out great, with amazing atmosphere, Lee as old Dracula was spot on and great, but once it got to the middle, it started getting a bit bland. Though The actor that played Van Hellsing was pretty good. Then the final act just felt rushed as hell. Real anticlimactic.

But overall, not too bad. Not too bad at all.

BTW, speaking of AVGN, anyone been following Rolfe's Titans of Terror special? Where he takes the Terror giants, such as Lugosi, Karloff, Price, etc etc, and basically makes a tournament out of the movies they've starred in together. EG he pairs certain ones together depending on what movies they've shared, and the one who has killed the other more times wins and moves on. Its a pretty good watch. You can find it on his youtube channel.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

There were a lot of WTF moments, yeah! Also, Scotty Doesn't Know is one of the funniest songs ever made.

That was a trip down memory lane...

So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

I think that's exactly how I felt when Indy almost looked like he was ready to fall in that one scene.  -u-'

I caught The Muppets at a second-run theatre today.  It was funny, but my viewing experience was ruined by bad theatre layout (no raked seating), some tall guy sitting in front of me with his kid on his lap, and a baby behind me.  I couldn't see the screen at all, and the theatre was packed with kids, there was no place to sit.

Awwww that's a shame. That movie needs to be viewed in better conditions than that.

Last night I saw The Grey, or Wolf Puncher as I've been calling it. However, after seeing it, it's more appropriate title is Wolves [tornado fang] With People. The movie is excellent though.

I saw Thor a few days ago. It was an okay movie, I felt that Heimdall could've been put to MUCH better use. Instead, he was frozen for the last quarter of the movie. For someone who is apparently feared by Odin himself, that makes me beg to differ.

Yeah Heimdall was real awesome, and its a pity he didnt get more screentime. Still, what he did get was awesome.

Chronicle is a fantastic movie. One of the best superhero origin movies I've ever seen and the best example of a live action Akira you'll ever see.

Watched "The Secret of Kells"

Blown away by how visually gorgeous this movie is. Just beautiful. Watch it if you haven't.

Just came back from The Avengers. Ruffalo was actually surprisingly good as Banner.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Recently saw Hunger Games.

I liked some things, mostly out of a design aspect, but other then that....I found it pretty meh.

That's honestly how I felt about it.  It seemed rather predictable too, despite the fact I haven't read the book, and a bit cliche for the romance stuff, but that's teen romance stuff.  I also felt that the camera was way too shaky during the fight scenes but my brother said that it's normal for that to happen during the action scenes, though I guess if they didn't do that it would be too graphic, and it was pretty graphic all ready.  Overall it wasn't bad and I'll see the next one.

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Currently watching one of the Librarian movies on television. Excalibur in this film is not a nagging ego in this one, but moreso of a "doggie buddy". Yeah, it's the one when Flynn is trying to go on a vacation from the madness he goes through.

...Though, as I suspected "Hunger Games" was a bit of an overhype geared at tweens.

Well, saw the Avengers and thought it was a good movie. Nice Galaga cameo too.
