So I heard.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Already not looking good for TF2 (TransFormers 2, not Team Fortress 2 dummy)? why am I not suprised?  8U

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Just watched Wall.E.
It was really sweet... The interaction between Wall E and EVA was beautiful, very expressive.
Also, there was a hint of Idiocracy in there. But honestly, idiocracy scared me much more than this did. At least they still had intelligence, just they were under the influence of commercials and all that [parasitic bomb].  I mean, when they got disconnected from their screens and got aware of their surroundings, they were just fat, not stupid. And the credits show that eventually Humanity slimmed back down again.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Went to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen last week. Here're my views (this may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk):

- Most of the new characters contribute nothing to the story (Sideswipe gets one line near the start and that's it.)
- Comic relief characters/comedy in general = NO (Sam's room-mate was completely pointless, and that scene with Devastator...)
- Generic teen-romance plot is pointless. It's called "Transformers" not, "The Adventures of Sam Witwicky and his shallow eye-candy girlfriend".
- Sam in general.
- The Fallen was pretty cool. Not that he did much.

Still, I liked it when the actual title characters were on-screen doing stuff. The rest of the time? Eh...I can't recommend it based on that.

My Twitch channel. Random streams during the week.
Currently streaming: Transformers: Devastation

Actually makes it sound like it has a chance.

Interview on the writer for the Cowboy Bebop live action gave me a small BIT of hope
Damn you for raising my hopes. Now a part of me feels that there's a chance of it being good, and I hope (oh jeez) that it turns out good.

I went to see Up today.  Beautiful movie, Pixar did a fantastic job.  The stereoscopic effects were gorgeous and the stubble on Carl's chin was neat.  The texturing and bump-mapping on the faces made the characters look as if they were made of wax, particularly Russel.  I really enjoyed the movie from both an artistic standpoint and as a casual moviegoer.  Teared up at a few parts, too.

Indeed.  Too bad no one listened.  Now we're stuck with a $400 million turd sandwich.

A while back I watched The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.  Good movie, I recommend it if you're into silent movies.  Very artsy, the set design was gorgeous.

Tonight, I had just gotten back from seeing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.  I enjoyed it, kept me entertained.  I had forgotten how long those movies were, as it's been a while since I've seen one in theatres.  I saw a couple cosplayers at the theatre.  If I owned a robe, I would've brought it along and wore my old glasses.

Sweet to know, I can't wait for tomorrow now, thanks~  :D

update: just came from seeing it w/ 2 good friends.  Not bad movie, aside from me nitpicky that the last battle wasn't in, but aside from that, I really enjoyed quite a fair bit of this movie, especially the nice subtle comedy and the actors~ especially Alan Rickman~

so yeah, not bad~

The movie is a bit before your time.  It's a good movie, though, I definetly recommend buying it.  The animation's beautiful.
