So uh I do paintings and comics. The latter of which is probably a little less relevant than the former. I was wanting to make my presence known a little more before posting my own stuff but I couldn't think of anything constructive to say. I mean you guys seem talented enough..
Here's some of the things I've done so far;
Pixel art! It's pretty simple. I just grid up a canvas by whatever relevant resolution, draw up the particular graphic by hand and then, just start painting it. I use oil paint for some reason. I might start not doing that though because it's hard stuff to work with. The smallest I can go is 2mm by 2mm pixels, though I am yet to finish any works via that method..

Anyway, I'd like to ask you guys some things..
I want to do a painting of something Rockman / Mega Man related. What should I do?I need something iconic whilst not too blatant. I was thinking, the Rockman / Mega Man II title screen (like
this) but I could remove the logo and just keep it like that. But that's an awful lot of black to fill in. Or maybe one of the Wily machines? Or a GET WEAPON screen? Which one? Or maybe just EXE mugshots?
Those first five paintings are part of a set I did as gifts for people. I need to do one more. What of?I'm really stuck for ideas here. It's for a friend of mine. She's a University student, like me, doing a degree in humanities, or something. She 'aint that into video games, though appreciates my enthusiasm for them with considerable interest. Did work for Greenpeace once. I'd have to keep it down to a smaller, preferable 8bit sprite.
