No, that's definitely not the case. My anger has calmed down, and the ump in question manned up, and went on to say that "he blew that call and cost that kid his perfect game and that he's never felt so low." The pitcher in question supposedly hugged him after the game. To come out and admit your mistake after seeing a replay earns my respect. [parasitic bomb] happens, but he admitted his mistake. The pitcher knows what he did, the ump knows what he did, and everyone who watches & plays baseball knows what he did, so the commissioner needs to step in, make an exception to the rules, and overturn the call and give Galarraga his perfect game.
