Well, still got about 20 minutes before Sony's conference, so I'll pipe in with the PB Analysis again...

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
-Not ZOE3
-4 Player Co-OP Mario gameplay? Playable Toad? PB = Pleased Blues. Make a note, Capcom
-Online gameplay aspect will probably be important, as from what I've seen, a good portion of gamers nowadays don't have actual offline friends to go over to one's house and play it with them.

Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles
-Not ZOE3
-Once again, like most FF games, looks beautiful. Hope it's good for FF fans.
-Once again, like most FF games, I probably won't play it. Hope it's good for FF fans.

Golden Sun DS
-Not ZOE3
-Hmmm, trailer looked pretty awesome. Glad the GS fans got a new title
-Never played the series, and probably won't start now.

Wii Fit Plus
-Not ZOE3
-It will sell, to the envy and anger of "hardcore" gamers everywhere, which is always good for a laugh
-I might give it a try myself, but Wii'll see.

Wii Sports Resort/Motion Plus
-Not ZOE3
-This will also sell. Immensely. Especially due to the Bundle with the Motion Plus.
-Looks like a ton of simple fun to PB. Archery looks awesome (I like Archery), BBall looks Blacklicious (Hopefully White PB will stay out of Black PB's way), I'll kick everyones ass in online RPM Ping Pong ([tornado fang] YA'LL BITCHES, I'm PPB up in this [sonic slicer]), and Skydiving will be more fun if you have the option not to open your shoot! (Cause we ALL will let him fall)

Super Mario Galaxy 2
-Not ZOE3
-More Super Mario Galaxy? Nothing EVER wrong with that. Can't [tornado fang]ing wait. Hurray for Ridable Yoshi.
-On a serious note, this game BETTER, BET-TER have more Communist Flying Mario. BET.TER

Wii Vitality Monitor
-Not ZOE3...I mean, REALLY not ZOE3
-Pretty impressive waste of Iwata
-#1. It will become a net meme somehow. #2. Will become the face of what's wrong with Nintendo, most likely. #3. Will sell a lot, and will REALLY [acid burst] off gamers, which will make PB happy!

Metroid: Another M
-Not ZOE3
-I just watched the trailer and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS
-Still a long ways off.

Okay, I think that's pretty much it. I might have missed something. Either way, onto Sony's ZOE3 conference.

i missed the entire show. but that's no biggie. i can't get up that early anyway.

but reading the results, Ninty fared a hell of a lot better than Microsoft, if not just for the orgasm that the new Metroid caused me to have. but you throw in TWO new Mario games on the Wii, and a new Golden Sun, that's double the amount of games i care about compared to the 360 lineup. no Miyamoto is a little disheartening. perhaps swine flu got to him?

people think the MS show was better only because they paid to get the Beatles and Steven Spielberg on stage. or they've had a sudden change of heart when it comes to the motion sensing gimmick.

anyway,onto Sony.

Not one, but TWO new Mario games? It really is almost like it was in the 90s!

And that new Metroid game looks SEXY. Thanks for your hard work Retro, but I was never much of a Prime fan. Another M DEFINITELY looks more up my alley...but where is my 2D Metroid proper?

There's that. And then there's always the notion that well, let's be honest. In spite of the strides that Ninty has made in the last few years, one thing has never changed since the 64-era; if you go with Nintendo consoles, obviously, you bought it more in line for Nintendo/Nintendo-style/Nintendo-friendly games.

For the majority of Wii owners, this is the kind of the stuff that should be expected, as well as what's desired. And for a Wii/PS3 owner like myself, this is fine.

Well, having two Mario games.. no, three (M&LRPG, Donkey Kong VS, Mario Galaxy 2.. even NSMBW, that makes four!) feels like we are going retro.

This year's E3 looks impressive. Now for Sony.

Now that I think about it, the vitality sensor could have a lot of potential.

Think of Survival Horror games using this to base what happens in the game on your heart beat.

First Person shooters changing based on your heart beat when you get excited.

There's probably more stuff that I haven't thought of, but if done right, there could be some really good games coming out of this supposedly useless device.
