Part of it comes from a Homestar Runner animation in which Strong Bad calls Homestar his d-o-g-e. Then there's some audio file or something. Then there was some craze about the shiba inu, or "shibe" and I think the memes kinda merged.

Random fact: I prefer watching anime that have finished airing as opposed to those that are currently airing.

I find it annoying when people keep trying to make me watch the subs of an anime before the official dub (if there is one), as it causes (at least in me) expectations for what the characters should sound like (even though looking at their and reading the manga does the same, but the vocal expectations I get from reading manga tend to be spot-on as opposed to basing it on their Japanese voices).

Also, I hate Homestuck, Attack on Titan, and a couple of other series simply because some overzealous fans won't shut the [tornado fang] up about it and keep trying to cram it down my throat (it's a reflex brought on by stupid people trying to enforce their opinion on me when I don't give two shits).

I think the majority of this forum doesn't like Attack on Titan, I do like Kill la Kill even with the hype but Attack on Titan is just bad besides the music.

The only thing I kind of liked was the whole spiderman parkour schtick. Everything else is horrid. The animation, the fandom, the sad excuse of a plot who's idea of a deep story is killing off a main character every two episodes, etc.

I can't eat fried chicken without getting sick anymore due to an event of bad timing where I got food poisoning after eating some bad fried chicken. I can still eat fried foods, and I can still eat chicken, just not fried chicken.

The OST and animation are great; it's everything else that's terrible. The plot being the worst offender. It's high production values, with no fluff.
