We have a picture thread, why not a music thread?
Behold the awesome.
That was pretty sick! I'm just gonna plug OCR here; they have many quality Rockman remixes there! ^_^
I have to agree, that was brilliant.
This guy did one of my favorite songs in the entire series.
TheDoujinChannel (http://www.youtube.com/user/TheDoujinChannel) has got quite a few good Rockman remixes. This one in particular is one of my favourites:
Wow! They're very impressive!
I listened to a few of them in the related. The dancing girl in your signature goes good with Crash Man's remix, haha.

Probably been posted at one point or another, but damn this is just so awesome.
As amazing as the music is in that video, I find incredibly egocentric and hard to watch :/
What do you mean?
How so?
I get pissed off at the little text bubbles he added to the characters talking about how awesome he is, kind of spoils the video for me :/
That said the actual music is great
Better than the RM9 AST in my opinion
ÅSM is a Swedish thing... ^^;
Just listen to the music, you don't have to watch the video if you don't like that.
That's what I did... didn't have 7 minutes to spare watching that video... ^_^
Oh wow...
I think you just found my favorite remix.
Isn't that the only remix of Wily stage 1?
Whatever, if we're posting music...
Here's something i've made :D

I think it´d be better to have a separate thread for music, this is getting really messy already.
That E-Tank´s remix is really impressive btw (I haven´t heard the original yet :P)

Was playing X1 and X2 over again today. Those were awesome games.
Can i put my music here too?
They're chiptune covers, not remixes but can i still post them here?
Yes, go ahead.
Woot, we has sticky.
The ZXA in NES style are cool. Soul Ablaze is a little dry in some spots though, it could have used some backing to it.
I mentioned this track during the retrospective a few years back...
Also, 2500 posts! wooooooooooo....
Vile MKII (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KDqMgHzOQc)

Haha, funny enough, I came across the same exact double remix on Youtube after getting stuck in the Youtube trap from one of the links above. It's awesome.
I just started working on a chiptune cover of ''Snake Eyes'' from ZX, until now, i've only completed 32 seconds -u-'
but i want to know how it sounds
I like how you've been 8-biting ZX songs, but they all sound really dry. There's a LOT a beats you're missing in the song.
Gonna post this here.
Someone else used my art for one of the Image Soundtrack's uploads on YouTube.
I feel special.
Oh, that's a good mix too!
I'd like to throw in some Project Mega Man (http://www.youtube.com/user/ProjectMegaMan?blend=2&ob=1):

Following a related video of the above, I got this one;
Most of the mixes I've heard from this guy are pretty good, but always seem to feel a little 'dry', in a way lacking a substantial bass backing. This one however is really well balanced.

We all miss her... how odd considering how abusive she was to pretty much anyone (or as she told me once when I asked her why she hated me, "you don't have boobs.").
I'm wondering where she went as welll.
Odd? not at all. Shes just the one person whom you really dont mind hating you. Because shes really a nice gal to know.
that,
or we're all just masochists and enjoy getting beaten up by her.
I choose both!
You know what I don't miss though? She was a massive leech in DOMO.
I don't play DOMO anymore, but I certainly don't miss that leeching.

All the "remixes" by TAK are actually the original songs reorchestrated with advanced tools. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

Awesome Napalm Man remix
Now that's what I'm talking about. Awesome Napalm mix.
Oh wow, that was better than I was expecting. It really picked up nicely.
Has anyone checked out this version of Rockman ZX's Innocence? It sounds pretty cool.
It's sounds like they used instruments from the game.
That's pretty interesting. An in-game mix.
Well, it IS our friend Tarbo-san who did this cover, so it means it was done in Daigasso! Band Brothers. <3

Has to be the best metal man remix I've heard so far! Thank you!
I love how they added flashman into it! <3
I guess this is the only real place to put this...
The MMX Series ReMix album going on over at OCR, Maverick Rising, has released their final teaser. At 16:43, it's a beast. But it showcases the variety of styles and genres to be found on the final result!!
Here's the teaser. (http://bahamutwc.com/Files/MRFinalPreview.mp3)
Enjoy!
I found this really interesting remix of the Central Highway theme from Megaman/Rockman X1. It's hard to describe. A bit hip-hop, a bit jazzy, a bit electro. Iunno. It really picks up a minute in. I found it a very nice and refreshing change from all the fast paced versions.

Very nice batch. I especially like the first one.
This one just came out. I'm happy with it.
One of 8 great MM6 remixes. Check them all out on this guy's YT account.
I've always liked that song. Wish he did more with it, but neat regardless.
Aw man, another metal man remix? But it's...different!
orly? yarly The lyrics remind me of Hyadain's Metal Heart.
I wonder how many people like vocal remixes...? I love them~~ But some people really hate them D: I think vocal remixes are more poplar...IN JAPAN.
I'm not sure if it counts as a Megaman song...
Funnily enough,
it fits perfectly.
Gencoil said he's gonna take a break from Megaman remixes for a while though, sadly.
And while this isnt actually a remix, but an original track, Ill still put it here.
Flame, you forgot this :) :
Didnt see it. oops.
Damn, that sounds good though.
That's pretty uncommon to see; the final battles of the later X series getting remixed, especially in orchestral style. Really cool.
That guy is AWESOME! That's the best fan rendition of Blaze Heatnix I've seen.
I really enjoyed the GB2-5 compilation too. It's great to see those GB4 & 5's especially.
Took the liberty of reversing X and Zero's X4 intro stage themes, and they both sound pretty good.
Also, (not by me) Copy X's theme reversed.
Still pretty neat. It almost has a completely different vibe. (lol, Original X's theme, anyone?)

Remix of Fragments, from ZX, but sounds more like Serpent Eyes.
Ah, I really like that remix. It sounds like they did incorporate elements of Serpent Eyes too.
A cover of
The Final Countdown Infinity Mijinion's Stage
So awesome. This is exactly what this thread is made for.
Posted on: June 23, 2011, 07:29:35 PM
Oh, this is the same guy who did the Blaze Heatnix and X vs Zero covers. I didn't recognize him with the hair cut, haha.
Hehe, that guy's guitar tone and playing are pretty unique, I find it hard not to recognise him =w=a
That is off the charts! Awesome find!
Someone mentioned he made an X medley in the Castlevania dungeon, when discussing another few Castlevania remixes made by the same guy. So I took a gander, and it was awesome. The plushies are adorable too.
Yay for hair metal.
Dammit MM2 Wily 1-2. >_>
Really have no place in there. (and personally im tired of hearing Wily stage 1)
Yeah...there are other much catchier Fortress themes...

This is all kinds of awesome. And kicks various kinds of ass.
We really need more later X series remixes. they can be just as good as SNES X series remixes.
Alternitively, later X series de-mixes are cool too.
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!
Awesome stuff. Especially X5 Zero Intro Theme, and Jakob SNES.
Also worth mentioning, as a related on the Jakob:
Those are some pretty kick ass remixes. :D
I've got one. Sure it may be one of the most remixed songs ever, but it's still cool.
I guess I should applaud the effort, but Dracula9's remixes there just don't sound right. I'm not even sure I could listen to some of them all the way through.
Though, I know all he does is take midis and re-sample them. The samples don't even sound SNES quality half the time either. That's probably half the problem.
Whoever did Jakob though knows what he's doing. That's a true masterpiece of a downgrade.
Here are some more random remixes.
Loving the HardMan and ColdMan remixes. The others were good too, but the previously mentioned are pretty rare, and even more rare done so well. A nice refreshing treat.
That Infinity Mijinion mix is off the charts.
I run a yearly tournament over at OC ReMix called the Grand Robot Master Remix Battle (http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=34694). This year's tournament just recently concluded. We ended up with 57 remixes of classic Mega Man tunes.

Rock out my friends! This guy knows how it's done!
Shame there was only 1 Megaman Genesis game.
Megaman music just seems to work so well with Genesis sound. (particularly X3 with the amount of grunge guitar it uses)
What the hell...
That's just about the coolest thing I've ever seen. Who the hell would have thought to use Floppy Drives to reproduce chiptune music??
Apparently Floppy drive music is a thing. He has done other stuff with 8 floppy drives. From the James Bond theme, to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, to the Duke Nukem theme.
Posted on: July 28, 2012, 07:18:37
I love finding these.
Those are really awesome. I especially love the X5 remix album there, and the MM6 title.
Its kind of sad the x7 boss theme sounds better as a genesis tune than in the actual X7.
Always did love Izzy Glow's theme.
That dude's shirt really is something else.
This is probably the X series track I dislike more than any, and yet when heard with a real instrument, it's really not that bad. Especially since she adds more before the song loops, which was probably my biggest problem with the song. It's short.
I DO love Maverick Rising so much.
