Okay, to put it bluntly, this is a thread for posting shows you downright HATE and think would be better off having not been made in the first place.
This is just opinionary, so I'm not responsible if this sparks arguements. And I apologize if it is deemed by the higher ups to be my fault, and if I shouldn't have posted this.
Anyway, to start the ball rolling, shows I think shouldn't have been made include:
-Spongebob Squarepants
-Marvellous Misadventures of Flapjack (I don't give a [tornado fang] if I didn't spell that right)
-Chowder
-American Dad
-Fanboy and Chum Chum
-Suite Life on Deck
Take note that only one of those isn't animated.

Ironically, I liked Coconut Fred alot.

American Idol.
The only good part of the show is the auditions at the beginning. After that it's boring as hell.
Very true too.
Can I just post a link to the anime forum and leave it at that?
Reality Tv in general.
I HATE reality Tv. It's so fake it makes me sick.
*nod nod* Why the hell do they even call it reality TV anyway? It'd be more real if the premise of mos of them weren't "take random people out of thier homes and drop them in the middle of nowhere and make them play games every couple of days."
*shrug* But I did a group presentation on it for English.

Well...
I kind of don't like that show about those two idiotic kids, that once was taking place in the hotel, and then ON A BOAT [chameleon sting]er DON'T YOU EVER FORGET!
Not to mention iCarly... brrr.
I actually think Spongebob Squarepants is okay, and Family Guy is funny. American Dad's ok,it's not the best Animated comedy in my book.
But can you really blame any of the shows on Cartoon Network/Disney/Nickelodeon? Their target audience is Kids/Young Teenagers.
And yea, Reality TV is about as real as Hollywood movies.

You missed the crossover gags then (Homer getting mowed down by Stewie, Quagmire getting his jiggy on Marge, etc). :p
I have no problem with Family Guy, and might be a few others, but I can't stand HANNAH MONTANA and Disney overall. Plus Nick's iCarly (ATHF I'm starting to find decent, because of a sprite comic that I read once that uses and twists thier gags a little). I don't even watch TV anymore so why am I posting in this topic? who knows. TV has been REALLY boring for me lately. :P
Whatever happened to GOOD Disney shows...? I think House of Mouse might have been the last GOOD Disney cartoon.

[tornado fang] yeah Phineas & Ferb. XD
I remember actually knocking it for a while because of how similar it looked to other animation out now, but watching that show, I noticed that it's a damn goldmine.. As for this topic, well, I don't really watch much TV lately, but thanks to the OP posting Fanboy & Chumchum, I remembered that I hated it with a passion. It's everything I didn't want to see happen to 3D animation and everything wrong with cartoons after the 90s wrapped into one.
Phineas and Ferb? That show has a platypus secret agent and an Evil germanish scientist! How can a show like that be bad?! 8D
The last 11 years or so of the Simpsons are just horrible. I don't know why I still watch.
Jay Leno has never been funny. The Jay Leno show not only was horrible television, it is now causing the end of Conan's show, which is one of my favorites.
er chance, Season 1 kind of sucks, but after that it found it's groove and is now among the most consistently funny shows on television. The Christmas special last month was one of the best things that have ever happened.
I prefer Letterman Myself.
And I agree, Leno really isnt that funny. He's really lost his touch. He used to be funnier.
Soap operas.
OH GOD... I hate these. they are almost as bad as Telenovelas.
Speaking of those, I honestly can't stand them. Ugh. Same goes for each and every live action Disney movie made for Disney Channel.
I'll just watch Discovery or History Channel instead.

Isn't Telenovela the same as soap opera, just diff language?
Yeah. theyre the spanish equivalent. And yet, for some reason, Soap operas are much worse.
Possible summary in Soap Operas in 5 seconds:
Rich Family Dilemma unknown to tennage girl > Father goes on rampage > Gets arrested > A series of events occur > Idiot realizes she's been living in a pack of lies > Writer gets a nominee > Gets parodied years later in a cartoon.
Telenovas.. I haven't seen one since G'hata Salva'che. I actually thought that one was mediocer and at LEAST watchable when I was younger. -u-'
I remember channel 25, (PBS I think? I dont remember. No, WLIW I think) used to have chinese lessons. they were in the form of little mini episodes bout this American guy living in china or something. They also had asian soaps. One was about this detective samurai or something... I used to watch them with my mom when I was little. lol. XD
I'm tipping my hat towards Johnny Test, Squidbillies and Tim and Eric, for proving to me that TV Producers will do ANYTHING, as long as it has colors, to get an easy profit. [tornado fang] Flash Animation on Television, its lazy.
I dislike the Squidbillies, Super Jail, reality shows (Except Amazing Race), and MTV.
Who remembers "Mucha Lucha" and "Chaotic"?
they are pretty much the epitome of LAZY flash animation cartoons.

Shaolin showdown had a good concept, and wasnt a bad idea. what was bad, was that- and everyone knew it- it was one of those shows that would NEVER end. there would ALWAYS be another shen gong wu. Meh. at least it had it's fair twists and turns to keep it from being TOO monotonous.
if it actually had an ending (that doesnt occur after god knows how many seasons) it might have been better.
Yeah, I really liked that show too, I think it ended at an OK point actually. Sure, an actual conclusion wouldn't have hurt though.
I for one remember it's actual spelling: Xiaolin Showdown. Yeah, nice concept.. but the show would've ended RIGHT at the resealing.. which was a reminder how much I hate shows that drag on and on and on ('cept the Simpsons, because of it's moments)..
And pretty much shows that reuse the concept after it's initial washaway.. and Video Game adaptions gone wrong, RS Megaman and LOZ: TAS anyone? 8D
Though the epitome of LAZY ANIMATION has to be nominated for 6teen.. jeeeeebusssss.. That show is basically the real Blue Harvest: Horror beyond your imagination.. And it's plot -was- so boring I had to pull an M. Bison on it.
You guys get 6Teen and Total Drama Island/Action as well? Oh jeez.. I should at least hope they don't over-advertise it on the channel like Teletoon.
...speaking of Canadian shows, another that comes to mind is Team Galaxy. It lasted about a week in the States, if I recall.

Time Force in itself was [tornado fang]ing great. I loved it. Even more so Sentai Timeranger. Dino Thunder was good too.

Their Jerry Springer show is hilarious.
What's it called?
Jerome Springér?
hhahahahaha it would have been even more ridiculous like that.
No it's called "ça va se savoir" ("it will be known" literally).
It's like, in the American show you've got people shouting, insulting and beating each other and stuff, and in the French version, they're just remaining sitting with their rafined accent saying stuff like "oh how could you? Sleeping with my husband, it's dégueulasse"
hahahahahaha
Dumbasses.
They even copied the Japanese human tetris show. And then they say stuff like, "nah we French are original people"
Ugly Betty. That show is terrible. its a remake of a latin american show (of basically the same title- in spanish) but has no charm to it at all. The original show was something new, and somewhat innovative. And it actually progressed as time went on, until "Ugly" Betty wasnt ugly anymore and got a makeover. 9then it became a different show based around the company she worked for, and that didnt last long.)

Czech Republik has their own

Just like Poland has their own The Nanny ( Do you know how refreshing it is to see a show in Poland TV in whcich the characters have more than one voice!)Oh yeah, a rich pair had in Slovakia their own shows (they had 3!) which all sucked but yet
everyone watched them!
The sitcoms on the Disney Channel and TEENick (iCarly, That's So Raven). They are failed attempts by said channels to create a true sitcom, I don't know how anybody enjoys that [parasitic bomb]. 'Nuff said.
Also, Secret Millionaire on FOX. Just GIVE the money to the poor. ::) I'm glad it got cancelled.

my feelings exactly. (I used to watch the original version too.)
Oh yeah, just remembered another show; O'Grady (at least I think that's what it was called) Aside from bizarre things occuring every episode, the animation was laaaaazy. It seriously looked like it was made in MS Paint by a 8 year old.
If we are talking about the [parasitic bomb] that they air on TV in our native countries, I'll talk a bit about polish "comedies" or SITCOMS.
Let's talk about "Świat Według Kiepskich.", which takes its title from the polish translation of "The Life With Bundy"(which was [tornado fang]ing AWESOME).
Anyway, so it's about a guy named Ferdynand Kiepski, who is an upstanding citizen of modern Polish society... except not really, because he's a drunkard who drinks vodka and beer all day, while watching TV. He has two children. One is a typical rebellious girl, the other one is a complete moron with bald head who likes to do what his father does.
There's also the only reasonable person on this show, which is Ferdynand's wife Halina.
And so, they do such interesting [parasitic bomb] on this show, like turning aliens into alcoholics. Turning robots into alocholics. Trying to find a easy way ot make money(which usually backfires on them), and drinking beer and vodka.
Yes, it's just as shitty as it sounds.
Shortland Street (http://www.guiltysecrets.co.nz).
But then again, I hate hospital soaps in general.
Rugrats All Grown Up was... awful. Cheesy plot(s), cheesy jokes, CHEESY EVERYTHING. Too bad the episode that started the whole thing up wasn't all that bad.
Also Jibber Jabber, which is a CGI ripoff of Phineas & Ferb minus the everything good about it. And the actual CGI is horrible. THE FACES. THEY DON'T MOVE.
Any 4Kids dub, One Piece being in mind. Urgh, they just do a horrible job at it, from the unnecessary censoring to the horrible voice choices to the God-awful rap. The only anime they should dub are those meant FOR KIDS, not teenagers and up.
The Dubs I dont ususaly mind. It's the editing that kills me.I mean, I thought Yugioh and Pokemon were particularly well dubbed, but it was the edits and cuts made that killed it for me. But otherwise, i dont mind their Dubs.
(Dan Green ftw.)

Trading Spaces and WifeSwap, anyone? >_< UGH. Those [acid burst] me off the most.

I like it more when it was newer, but now it's sort of a "guilty pleasure", as I only watch the subbed ones now. Really, do you think that would have passed the CN censors? I don't think adults would have like seeing their children seeing a form of alcohol on an anime for younger viewers. Besides, Naruto fared off better than most stuff. Compare VIZ Media's dub of it to 4Kids' dub of One Piece. Hell, the latter's dub of Shaman King was better than dub of One Piece.
And not all of 4Kids dubs suck. I heard great stuff about their dubs of Ultimate Muscle, Dinosaur King, and Huntik: Seekers and Secrets. Even Smesiriki(GoGoRiki), despite bowderlization.

More stuff of American TV that I absolute can't stand, namely certain shows on Cartoon Network...
Bakugan: Battle Brawlers
I personally find the anime series as a big Yu-Gi-Oh! wannabe like Duel Masters, especially in the second season.
Hot Wheels Battle Force 5
Why?
Pokemon DP anime series
I may get flamed by Pokemon anime fans for this, but the animes is redundant for a LONG time now, and I'm getting sick of seeing Team Rocket attempt to steal Ash's Pikachu for over 10 years now... (http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=260) These two should kill themselves because the world doesn't need people who are stupid as them.
Johnny Test
Lame, over-used catchphrases like "I didn't that one coming," cheezy jokes and lame parodies of other great stuff like Scooby-Doo and Star Wars just sickens me... Also, the mole people are portrayed as male homosexual stereotypes (The Village People) in their appearance.
Casper's Scare School (TV series)
Why?
Chop Socky Chooks
Asian stereotypes plus f'ugly "chicken" designs and lame jokes.
George of the Jungle (2008)
Why?
MTV reality shows.

I think the only show that is on right now that I really don't care for is Johnny Test, the god damn thing has been run into the ground with 10+ hours of it on the CN schedule. Plus Johnny is in all respects, a character with no redeeming values, he is just a selfish snobbish brat and eveything that happens in the show is more or less his fault.
