Since 2001, Maqqy (http://www.mhho.com/)'s Mega Man Bathing Suit Contest has been a staple in the Rockman community. After a few glitches last year prevented any results from happening, the contest is back with the hope of being bigger and better than ever! Rockman Perfect Memories is proud to team up with Maq to co-host the 2009 Mega Man Bathing Suit Contest! New this year is the temptation of some Mega goodies. The winners of the two categories will have their choice of either a 1-year deviantART subscription or the Mega Man Official Complete Works artbook from UDON! There are also a few additional prizes ready for those exceptional artists who claim second place.
The rules have not changed over the years, nor will they now. There are two categories: the TALENT Category for artists who want to showcase their skills and the CONTENT Category for those who want to display their humor. You are allowed to submit two different entries, one for each category. Since the contest is getting started a little later, however, the deadline has been extended into early September. This will also shorten the time between when the winners are announced and when the MMOCW actually releases and is available to be sent to our winners.

I remember this, but I thought it was always MHHO who hosted it.
For the content, I have just the plain Search Man EXE (TRU Green) Stream Capsule figure, so no need for the Search Soul Capsule Figure. But the complete works; do want. Paint tool SAI should be easy use for this contest (and luckly enough, I draw at night).
But then, the "Akira Clause". anyone recall that? o~O
And after this, RPM should do a sprite compo, since we are getting active spriters here nowadays.

Maq changed her site to focus solely on her own art last year and basically got rid of the Megaman stuff. Although some of the old contests and art are still there, as part of her April Fools joke this year.

A 18 pack of budweiser later at 5 in the morning, I found the inspiration for an artwork for this contest...I'm still fixing it on photoshop by totally abusing the "finger" tool, but meh...it's the effect I want to give it...
( btw, if someone could point me on how to submit an image FROM DA and make it Actually work, he or she will be rewarded with the thousand treasures of the lost Golden Empire...)

Don't forget to tell us if your drawing is a Talent (well-drawn) or a Content (humor) drawing. This counts for everyone. The contest is split in two so it means you can send two drawings. One for each of them. Not the same drawing of course. But then again, there might be rare cases where talent and content can be mixed together. That must be some kind of super artist... or Akira~ ^.^; </wii>
Oh sorry...well I guess my artwork will be submitted in the talent category, I can't wait to see what the other people will come up with. I have been extremely impressed and inspired by past entries...

I got a note about there being some issues when sending in the entries.
When RPM broke down a day ago, so did the e-mail address.
Since we want to make this work as good as possible, I put up more ways to send in your entries.
