In real life.
I will not be held responsible for any injuries resulting from this thread.
Not that high. Maybe two feet?
You'd never make it over Chill Penguin.
I bet if I could find two walls really close together, I could kick myself all the way up to the top.
You'd have to have pretty strong legs to do that...
I don't wall jump.
I just look at the wall, don't do it, and say I did.
Lying is fun.
my cieling
I kick through walls
you're disqualified
WHAT?!
I once tried to wall jump. didnt end well. just like my attempt at dashing and double jumping.
All I can do is Jump, Jump, Slide, Slide. I can't jump as high, but I can make it an inch off the ground off the wall.
I could actually Wall Jump somewhat high, when I was younger and thinner! XD

This except I think I could do it if I had more practice spots, was bored and well leaner than I am.
I can duckjump. Does that count for anything?
Uh, I wish I could wall jump. I just look at the stairs. Imagine a mix of wall jumps of X, then Ryu's technique and how I got down is if I have a gauntlet like Prince(Prince of Persia 4) I would just scratch down to the ground.

I would have posted that if youtube didn't want to be a dick and stop working for me...
I used to be able to do the horizontal wall jump. Then I got lazy.
Ditto with the dash.
I remember about Megaman X6's option menu which is you selected High Jump (The thing i know is Shadow Armor only special jump -_- -_-).
Man, the X6 "high jump" was so underpowered. Should've worked exactly like a normal jump but higher, or something else that would let you reach ceilings even in areas with a distant ceiling.
Yeah, there was an issue with the elevator up to the catwalk at my school's theatre once, so I had to kickjump up there. It's like... three stories, I think? I almost didn't make it.

Really :D.
You know, I'm not sure. I've had to get to high places using kickjumps before, but I never really counted how far up I've gotten.
I wish I could wall jump. My legs are way to darn weak (cerebral palsy) to do so.
P42 is a good MM impersonator, yet I've never seen him wall jump.
wall jump...
hmm...
probably at 2-3 feet high.
I forgot. I'm used to training those thing, but not anymore.
i forget :\
i can only wall kick...but thats just about it 8D
Wall kicking liek in videogames is rather impossible. it requires a damn load of leg strenght and endurance to pull it off between two walls, but I can usually do 2 or maybe 3 consecutive wall jumps between two really close walls. Aside of that, when it comes to wall kick, I can usually jump 5 or 6 feet high.
I can do it, but not on the slippery walls in the room im in, The school walls are much easier to grip.
wall kicking is easier for me to do than the wall jump...
The secret of Wall kick and Wall jump is not only how "good you are at it, but also the pair of shoes you have, I remember a few months ago I had my old pair of shoes that lost all of their grip, wall kicking with these was a pain in the ass cause they would always slip from the wall. So I bought a new pair specially made for running and sports that need grip(Soccer and such) so Now it's like my shoes are biting to the wall now.
Well, the only "wall jumping" that can be done is the horizontal wall-to-wall jumping - kicking up a wall X/Zero/ZX-style is, to current scientific standards, physically impossible to do, whether it be the grip needed or the fact that you normally shouldn't be able to go back towards the wall you just kicked away from.

I can do that... somehow...

I can do it without any shoes... (seriously...)

That must hurt your feet...
I can bomb jump. Quite painful, though. Don't recommend it. The respawning process is painful as well, especially because I usually end up in the middle of nowhere.

You must be able to do it to a certain extend though...because after a certain numbers of jump, your physical limits begins to kick in and wall jumping becomes harder and harder and eventually, not possible at all, I still stand to my point, it's possible to wall jump between very close walls to a LIMITED extend, but wall jumping like in Megaman X/Zero/ZX is impossible.
I think this thread has served it's purpose now. Locked!
