So after playing X4 and Maverick Hunter X back to back during my commutes this week, I can reconfirm my assessment that the PS1 games feel stiff by comparison to the SNES games (and Maverick Hunter X).

Hmm while I had an easier time with Maverick Hunter X compared to X4, but I still suck either way, I have to say I don't like the Wall Jumping in Maverick Hunter X. It felt like I had a hard time staying on the wall for some reason.
